  1. Still. You'll have to keep us up to date with your forays mate.
  2. The man with a .308 has just bought a .177 air rifle... Well. That's gonna be a come down old Danny boy.
  3. Ya see that's a bit mad that. When I had toms imp, trophies were mint. So we're fields really... Suppose it just shows how literally each barrel of the same model likes a different form.
  4. Of course admin. The track are in fact in use, but not on Sunday's and the section of track that I was on, is still owned by the land owner who, to his annoyance has to put some towards the maintenance of the line... But he sees it as a good money earner in the long run with the train company paying him a % for the usage. It's a private mining company you see that carts tons of stone from quarry to wherever. Yep. Permission is fine. He's asked me to keep the rabbit numbers down on the line due to the "little b*****ds" digging under it on either side.
  5. Best looking rifle there... The twenty two mate... Looks the dogs dangelies
  6. The mrs literally just said the same thing about the track but the trains don't run on Sunday's.
  7. 400, Ill have that, PM me the amount and Ill do a paypal.
  8. With the other half in bed nursing ANOTHER hangover, I got out about 11.30 this morning. Plan was pigeons, pigeons all day. Only managed the one, only saw two, so that went shit but ok. On the walk back which is some walk, I stopped off in a cow field. Had two of these fury buggers, then the last 50 yards to the car, another one popped out One of them from the cow field shows signs that we have met before.... Not so lucky this time. I think I remember him too... or her as the case was. The last rabbit, jeeeeezzzzz, never seen blood spillage like it. Blurred it out of course admins.
  9. WHERE IS THE F'KIN LEATHER POUCH FROM?! Jeeeeezzzzz.
  10. So... you missed some? Love wood pigeon man, what you gonna do with um all?
  11. Good man mark... ya can just see ya 100 poking out the back of the hide though mate. Just nudge that in a bit and all good Your freezer must be on the large side. Whats the pointers name by the way? Hes always in the images, he needs a HL account
  12. Timmy tree knows his shit about the PS. Aint seen him about for a while mind...
  13. Yes. Nice. The f'kin cocking lever screw that connects the lever to the cocking shoe. Once it's been apart so many times, or for whatever reason, as soon as it looses any of its 'strength', the cocking lever itself won't stay shut as it uses the resistance on the last part of closing to stay closed. It's one of the issues that got me with my own PS, but fixed it with a few small shim washers. Power wise, about bang on that. They are intentionally lower on power, which creates a much nicer shooting cycle to the masses. The blacking will need sorting. PS's don't generally go for much, as
  14. Wheres that leather bottle slip from?
  15. The states. Up in the Pacific Northwest I'm generally in the terrier section no fancy high dollar PCP or anything like some of you but there's plenty vermin around the property to shoot so I'll try to post more here. You do that. And get ya self something better that that.., whatever it is European rifles are always best Saying that I spent the better half of 1600 on a rifle made in the US. Edit = and don't f'kin use it! Extra edit = it is the most accurate rifle I've owned though. Yes, it pulls the pants down on my old 100 and any 100 I've shot. Wait for it...
  16. Sweet post. Images are getting better by the post you'll be using Instagram soon..........
  17. 57 posts and never noticed you in the air guns sec. Nice man. Especially from over the water
  18. Erm... Tidy little eBay side line I would assume...
  19. Yeah seen this. Not sure for me. Not a big fan of the tactical stocks, especially on 'traditional' under lever looking rifles. The original wood work, although beech is a gem. The weight thing... I didn't know it was as light as that to be fair. Absolute positive. As an extra looking back at the image, I think the almost 90 degree pistol grip makes the trigger look 10 x better than that on its wood equivalent.
  20. Good post. For me... Woodpigeons. There small target out at anything over 25 yards, provide great shooting if the right spot is found, whether it be on decoys on a sitty/roost shoot, they are as wary as f'k, and Id go as far to say as there probably the best tasting, but thats an op, of course. I do like stalking/shooting rabbits, but find it more a job that a sport. The kits and half grown ones, dont really provide much of a test if there out on force. Squirrels are the same for me, as I dont eat them myself or know anyone nearby who does, I dont really like shooting [in large numbers
