If ukip are done and dusted, I hope some other party is coming through to fill the void, I think it is ridiculous to have two main parties and a massive gap to the rest. It does stink of conspiracy to me when a party starts to threaten the two major parties, things start to systematically fall apart.

I agree with Chris rock, in fact I use that exact line about loving black people and hating niggers, I thought I made it up myself but I may have heard it somewhere. I have taken many different races hunting with me with guns and dogs. Fijians,Samoans,Maoris,Japanese, Vietnamese. They all enjoyed it as an experience but only a couple of Vietnamese took it up as a hobby. One of my best mates is Chinese and loves shooting and his dogs. I know a lot of Vietnamese and Lebanese who love fishing. In general it is Anglo or European background Australians who take it up as a hobby from my experience.

So we can't produce a poppy seed from scratch despite having all the 'ingredients'. Am I correct in saying we cannot produce anything from scratch that carries life? If this is the case, the believers are going to keep believing as no one can prove that God or allah or whichever gods people believe in created life. Also the believers can never prove that god actually did create life hence these threads go round in circles all the time. I have to say there is some mind blowing posts in amongst the circles and I believe I am a pantheist (is that a word?) first time I have heard of that word but

Brilliant stuff kanny, this is the sort of thing makes me love life in all its minute insignificance and infinite grandeur. What a crazy thing life is where a tiny thing can ruin your day but the sky above us all goes forever and most people barely think about it.

I don't believe in God or allah or any other deity, I mostly relate to foxdropper's views in this thread, but I know I cannot prove my views and I have no interest in doing so. I haven't seen anybody PROVE Francie's views false and find it strange that seems to frustrate people. Why would Francie change his views because of somebody else's opinion or belief? As stated the world's best scientists cannot PROVE his beliefs wrong, why get upset if he won't change for anybody on here? Or maybe we should twist it into an argument whether Francie has an open mind or not, that is meaningful.

I have a hilux too and I love it. Mine is a 2008 dual cab but with a steel tray and it has been through hell and never skipped a beat even after 235000 km. Ford, Isuzu, Nissan, vw, Mazda, etc keep trying to match the mighty hilux but they all get found out in the end. I certainly don't plan on ever using anything else for an off road vehicle.

You need to use some spotted gum for your handles, heavy, dense, hard as rock and cross grained. Tbh they don't use spotted gum here anymore either. The crap timber that is used these days is a joke. The saying 'they don't make them like they used to' has never been more true. -

I hope no one took my words seriously, I was I guess sarcasm doesn't come across in typing. As I said bgd annoys me as much as weeds in my garden annoy me. I actually feel he lacks wit and intelligence but he has a dogged determination when he is behind a keyboard and some of his persistence on pathetic points humour me greatly. I appreciate your thoughts but I think I have have been slightly misunderstood.

We have plenty of space and resources for ten times our population or more but as long as we keep mining coal and oil and gas which pollutes river systems and table waters and the air we breath. We produce chemicals and plastics which basically choke and poison our planet and ourselves. Throw in war and terror and a manipulative media poisoning our minds it is amazing there is any beauty left on the planet. But there is! and still so much!
