    I agree, while I am not a 'believer' I cannot definitively prove that god does not exist so I don't see the point in trying to convince anybody of my beliefs. Whatever makes people happy, I wish them all the best.

    Native species are definitely a no no. I have trained my dogs not to chase kangaroos and wallabies although they do relapse sometimes. It seems dogs can tell an animal is wild as they never ever chase stock but have a couple of times ignored me and set sail after kangaroos and wallabies even though they clearly knew it is not allowed, cheeky buggers just don't seem to be able to resist.

    Yes, I forgot to mention cat, there are places with major cat problems, not many where I hunt but I would love to get stuck into them with the parsons and possibly my whippet x saluki bitch. When I was a kid we had a little fox terrier that used to love finding and mauling them. I have to check the laws on hunting them with dogs but I imagine the same as rabbit, hare, fox.

    Fox and hare is legal to hunt with dogs but there are laws along the lines of dispatch asap. Deer can only be flushed or bailed.

    Brown hare here, I do not know if the environment has changed anything about them but I have tried to research this and cannot find any accurate information. I doubt there would be any significant differences though.

    I hunt rabbit, fox, hare and pigs. Other quarry like goat and deer I shoot. But any dog I am interested in would have to be capable of hare as there are good rabbit, fox dogs here but not too many hare dogs I hear of.

    Why don't you get a few English bred over there and test them out for yourself? What are you running atm?I have a bull arab male only for pigs, a saluki x staghound bitch and a saluki x whippet bitch. I also use a parsons and a little jack russell bitch as a bushing / flushing type. Bar the bull arab and jr the rest have barely been worth feeding but for now I still have hope.

    $1500 aud for ten days quarantine is a lot of cabbage! I would love to see some of the dogs I have seen on thl working anywhere in the world but especially here in Oz. I have heard of people importing parsons,patterdales, gwp and jagdterriers from Europe with great success and catahoulas from the USA but I would love to see some of the good coursing dogs working over here. I have always thought a big strong fast type like razor would really suit my needs, but razor would suit many terrains and hunters needs! I would love to hear any stories of hunting dogs brought over here, running dogs or ot

    Always amazes me people who can draw as I cannot. I know people who have no training and can draw with unbelievable accuracy and detail. I also know a twelve year old boy whose art is random and from his imagination which absolutely blows my mind. Where does this stuff come from??? I am not an arty type but sometimes I just think WOW! Those drawings of your lurchers look super impressive to me.

    Great post Wilf, I was positive though dubious, about Obama's first term and I even allowed myself to be a little bit inspired by his amazing public speaking skills. What a let down and sell out he turned out to be, but it is not a total loss as when someone that eloquent, well spoken and 'suitable' to appease the pc brigade still cannot sway the masses warms my heart. All will be right in the world IMO.

    I never condone killing or violence except in self defence, especially against a woman and I do not condone this killing in any way. I also don't condone the lopsided way bgd attacks this case compared to the HUNDREDS of acts of terrorism committed in the name of islam. Obviously it is another pathetic attempt by bgd to prove a point but the only point that is proven to me is what a sad, manipulative and treacherous fool bgd is.
