I don't know if available in UK, but I have been wearing 5.11 trousers for the last 3-4 years and I have found them excellent. Very good durability and comfort with plenty of pockets. My army clothes are 15+ years old and served me very well but I find the design and fabric very much outdated compared to the 5.11 trousers. Atvb.

I am no fan of police, but that bloke was a fool and got what he deserved imo. The copper should have kept his cool a bit instead of getting hysterical like that but if I was a copper I would have given him a warning that I am going to smash your window and arrest you if you don't get out of the vehicle, if he doesn't listen that's on him.

From what I understand there's a greater threat of terrorism from Syria, Iraq and Libya now than before western interference, not to mention the increased poverty and suffering of the Syrian, Libyan and Iraqi people since Gaddafi and Saddam were overthrown and the attacks on Assad. Wouldn't that depend on the context? Anything can be evidence but for it to be solid it needs to be tested, reinforced, refined until it stands up to claim, and counter claim. That's incredibly simplified, I know, but what would your criteria be? What about your own life experiences? Do they count for anything?
