Get as many dogs as u want paul i do and no ones happy about it but me in my mind i can justify havung them.

    Tried loads of differnt wellies.toggi is the best iv found getting a new pair damara the ones i have iv had since last september and wear them seven days aweek and work on a farm and dig with them at 70 quid good gear.

    If it had to be one it would be my old 1/4 bull greyhound only 8 years ago if only i new then what i new now thered be sum killing done.

    Have a whippet good wee dog in small tight feilds but in open feilds he finds it hard to keep up with quary adding greyhoud for a few inches and bit more speed would make a very big differnce thinking of doing it in a few years when i need another rabbiting dog.

    Should make handy dogs alrite lad if pups are racey types.yes bill your right there speed and gameness is there down fall my dog spent a lot of time layed up ran in to gates trees cattlefeeders everything but a very handy dog to have about the place and wouldnt be without him good dog for round cover and holes but cant handle a full nites lamping even standing round cover all day and not even getting a run hes stiff for a day or two after.

    I have 1 he 9 year old would love another one there my type of dog strong racey fast and game as f##k if u get the right one.a good alrounder i think.he been good to me on fox and rabbit which is what i hunt.he great around the house and with kids but when he out in the feild its like flicking a switch totaly in the zone. But he got hit by a car last year and never been the same he just goes out doing cover now and lamping the odd fox.

    Last year i feed my dogs shot game and now with the shooting season in full swing i can get all the pheasants i want but is there any chance the led shot could poison the dogs.

    Cattle and pigs kepet in slated houses can suffer from lamness so id say it would be the same for dogs.

    Had a course of a black fox 1 nite about 2 years ago dog missed it never seen 1 since.

    iv got a whippet with a bit of collie in him. last season was his first season and hes shaping up to be a cracking dog on the lamp and out ferreting. fast smart agile and not afraid of cover and keen as anything just a wee rabbit dog but hes good crack and great to watch.

    was thinking of using it myself but you need a licence to get it and very few people use it any more.but was talking to farmer who said they used to throw the dogs in at the end.

    iv always had a bullx but got a wheatenxcolliexgreyhound because I wanted something different just hope she works as well as the bullx she was 12 months old in march. Next year will tell if she got what it takes for the foxes done all right on the bunnys so far just taking it easy with her she still a big pup roll on September.
