  1. well your on to a winner then if the land is passed. as long as your ok then you will get it.
  2. keep a eye out on sales section mate. you need to get one last night there as a fox 370 yards out in the field and i was watching him through the scope with my mate on the 170 lightforce tbar mounted roof lamp. and i could see him clear as day in the scope. he was after the mice on the cut field and it was lovely to watch him jump after then. then we got closer and i shot him at 204 yards try opticswearhouse mate
  3. 60 pound round by me well you wait and top workmanship
  4. you can make them with 2 lolly pop sticks and some bands to
  5. i like the fact its 25 mm tube it means the scope is lighter to
  6. very good mate. but its the inside of the cases that need to be spotless to be fair.
  7. cz for me. smashing rifles for the money and will be more accurate then the 10/22. as most bolt actions are
  8. i have one mate. superb optics and the crosshair dont change with the mag as its in the second focal plane got target turrets so can adjust and go back to zero when shooting over different ranges. there also very good under the lamp. well from what i can tell anyway. i havent used mine that much since i have had it. but ive seen enough to no its very clear under the lamp. 350 yards on a fox at night is a long way ! and i was sat watching one at that range and could make him out easy. i asked alot of people before i got mine and many people say for under grand there isnt a better sc
  9. good advise above. i would have 22lr if shooting rabbits from car. if walking about i would hmr though as you get more range. where if your driving round you can get in range for 22lr. for foxing then 243 as you could use it for deer to. but if you dont shoot deer and want it just for foxing then 22/250 would be more easy to get then 243. as for ammo cost it wont really matter inless you shoot lots and lots of foxes. 223 is superb also as if you get 1 in 8 or 1 in 9 twist you can do some long range shooting as you can use heavy bullets. where 22/250 your limited up to 55 grain really
  10. tyr norman clark or midway uk mate
  11. Thanks for all your reply's folks I have a fair bit to think about I would either use norman clake or the guy in bromsgrove ( by the way is he the one who works for wild cat mods?) no your thinking about andrew banner mate. he owns wildcat mods. richard pope worked for him for abit but now works for himself i would use any of them. i got richard to fit my jewell trigger as he done it well i waited. im sure you could get it scrwcut well you waited to
  12. or sonic cleaner with hot water and the denture tables work well.
  13. have a look at a secondhand nikon mate there very good
  14. i wouldnt go no lower then 20 inchs on it. where you having it done mate. ? you could get richard pope to do it in bromsgrove. good prices and super work to. or travel to rugby and see norman clark
  15. try federal 55 grain softpoints or 55 grain bt in it mate
  16. burris rings would be nice on it and dont mark the scope because of the plastic inserts
  17. if thats the case then mate say you have 20 chickens and the fox did get in he would only need to kill one to have a good meal ! but he wouldnt he would kill the lot weather he wanted 1 or 20 he would kill the lot given the chance thats what they do. as fast as you shoot them one will take there place anyway it would be very hard to wipe them out fully. fox control works both ways it helps protect your live stock and in a way it helps the foxes. if you have to many then thats when your find they will all suffer with hunger and diesease. same with deer in a way they control them
  18. i wouldnt use 35 grain in 222 40 grain is better suited. got a mate with 222 and uses 40 grain vmax. expands a treat on foxes
  19. annie anyday of the week. superb bolt and trigger. very accurate and a joy to use
  20. try some benchmark powder in your 223 mr l. as for the loads over the max well the people who do that have built it up in there rifles. if there isnt any presure signs then your more then likely fine. but just build up steady mate. after all fps isnt anything in less its accurate

  22. as above super optics and 4a crosshair. with ladder in bottom right corner. ideal for deer shooting or foxing. or those of you that want a a fixed mag on a rabbit shooting gun. couple of ring marks but not that bad to be fair. looking for £130 for it which is a bargain really. there £260 to £270 on the net. i havent long had it as i fancied a fix mag. but cant get on with it on my hmr and im keeping the zeiss on the 22/250. so mite as well sell it on and put the money to my reloading pot im in worcester west midlands. scope can be picked up or posted for exta 5 pounds PS
  23. i like the hinged floor plate. no mag to lose and easy to load single round. mine holds 5 but i use it as a single shot mod 70
