what rifle is it on ? air rifle ,rimfire, centrefire ? anyway make sure you have set the scope the right distance from your eye its important for you to get it right for your eye. when your happy make sure the mounts a done up right but not over tight. then set up a target ie if its for air rifle then set it up at 20 yards to start with see where the 1st shot hits on the board if you miss the board completely then bring the board closer. then once your on the board adjust to suite ie''' say its 3 inch to the right of the bull and high adjust one at a time so come down on the scope

here in west mercia it dont go on your ticket ! you just show them you are aloud the items showed on the ticket and your away

ive had it and think its a load of bollocks to be fair ! if you want to shoot deer for the 1st time and you never have then having a mentor is a good thing. i would perfer to do that then do the dsc1 course. but i dont shoot deer so to have it on a centrefire for foxing is wrong i think. if i had 22lr hmr and a 22 centrefire from the start of a grant then maybe. but to have rimfires for 8 months and then put in for a centrefire and get it back with mentoring is wrong imo ITS SAYS TO ME YOU CAN HAVE THE RIFLE BUT YOU CANT SHOOT IT ON YOUR OWN BECAUSE YOUR NOT SAFE SURLY THEN THEY

yes but if you reload they dont now how much ammo you use. you could say 2000 rounds a year ! bullet heads here dont get wrote on ticket. i guess they could if you asked them to so you can prove to the flo next time you send your ticket away inless its a rimfire then your stuffed

a fixed mag scope would be fine mate but to be fair i would have a good luck at the rifle. give it a good clean and check the crown. when i had 22lr i never cleaned it in till the groups opened up to much and buy that i mean at 60 yards i was getting ragged groups the size of a finger nail. 1 inch to 1 1/2 isnt the best really to be fair with a gun rested. start off with giving the barrel a clean check the mounts and scope are on right and tight but not over tight. put some rounds down it and there more then likey be way off but dont worry the barrel is just getting some ammo ba -

as for a mod dm80 is the top one to have if you can find one or dont mind the wait i have the old version of the dm80 and its much better then a sak. i no because i have had most mods on my annie
-
mite be hard pushed to get a secondhand annie but worth a look about. cz with 16 inch barrel would be nice though and spend the rest on ammo if you have scope, mounts, bag etc all ready
-
accuracy will be the same mate no matter. its down to choice really do you want a heavy barrel or the light barrel ? light would be better if you do alot of walking round the shoot. if you shoot from a car then go for the heavy
-
dont mess with zero on scope see which is your best group then zero with that ammo.
-
i would buy it then mate there soild rifles nice stock and triggers cutting one down to 14 inchs isnt the problem. the only problem with 14 inch barrels seamed to be on the annie hmr. reason being i heard was someone didnt order the 18 inch barrels in for hmr they ordered 14 inch barrels in what they use for the 22lr so with all these number of barrels they made a limited run of hmr's with 14 inch barrel.
-
i would go for the lightforce but deker is right the maxi pro is good i use to have one a couple of years back but now use the truck so the lightforce go's into the fag lighter
-
try some 40grain bullets in the rifle mate. my friends 222 groups a treat with them and its nice and flat shooting to

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same issues. Ironcally, my best results are with the same ammunition. If I do find a compatible factory round I shall let you know. Many thanks for that. The Sako gameheads I was told was very good factory rounds and idea for deer, but should give sub inch at 100yards. Snapshot have just noticed a very slight mark on the barrel, at the forend and the left side. Maybe the stock has caught this. Looks like a trip to gunsmith to take a little off the stock, although the barrel still looks like it's free floating! This could be the problem? Fas

this 14inch barrel hmr it isnt a annie buy any chance is it ? i have the annie but its 18 inch barrel they do a 14 inch one as well but i hear they had lots of problems with them so i wouldnt touch it
-
i would have the annie the bolt and trigger are superb. accuracy spot on to

trooper or monterey 3.1 turbo diesel. 3 or 5 door powerfull very good off road and lots of space. i wanted a little vitara as its better on fuel but it just hasnt got the room. we need 5 ddor as i drive the other front guy lamps and then guys in the back can shoot out there windows

hmr perfect for what you want as for the 223 or 22/250 for fox then you wont go wrong wrong both super caliber rifles for sure. i have vermin on my 22/250 as well as fox and i take the odd rabbit with 22/250 but to be fair even if you shoot it in the head it makes to much mess. and if you do it often it will cost to much in ammo imo its a waste of a round to use on them if doing it all the time
