  1. you can have the trigger polished and then set up. but for the money you mite as well get aftermarket trigger. the difference it will make to your shooting will shock you
  2. im sure there is a site online that shows you the workings of the trigger and how to adjust it. look it up on google
  3. you will have to send the gun off to the cz dealer and get them to do a bolt for it. the bolt cost isnt that much i bet but postage from frd to rfd will soon add up. if i where you i wiould stay clear of the bother and get a secondhand one from somewhere else
  4. thing is if you can hit a rabbit at 100 yards in the head with hmr then a fox shot in the head with hmr at 50 should be easy. if you cant then you shouldnt be shooting
  5. have a look at the 2 stage one they do at jackson rifles mate. or the jewell as well. you could lighten the standard one for the time being
  6. dont no how much clearance you have on these but dont matter going bigger as long as you get a good set. you want mud tyres or 50/50 at tyres. insa turbos look a good bet
  7. be carefull with the surf the head gaskets go on them. if you can get manual one. for that money i would get a trooper more then enough space and 3.1 engine is bomb proof
  8. Nice going Jamie,i fish for barbel and chub on my clubs stretch of the Warwickshire Avon.I know the biggies are in there (15lb+) but its another thing getting them to take a bait. yes mate there are some massive fish in the avon. what i would say is scale down on the soze of the bait. my mate gave me that advise. early in the season after the fish spawn they are hungry and take big bait. but now some time has gone by he found they perfer smaller baits. shellfish boille does the job well at the moment. they grow up to 15 in the teme but f you want more chance of getting that size then
  9. im looking for something smaller would have swapped you for a trooper 5 door. full mot and history. shame your so far away
  10. went barbel fishing last friday on the teme with my friend i wanted to catch a good size barbel and his best to date is 10lb 3 oz and i no there are fish in there bigger and good chance of getting one. any how he had 1st fish a barbel with a weight of 7 and a half pound. next go was mine and well i didnt get one i still had 2 good size chub. in all a good day out
  11. best scope for clearness and value it isnt cheap around 300 pound secondhand is the bushnell elite 4200 6x24x50 with side px. its much better optics then the other scopes in its price range. but still isnt as dear as the next step up like the s&b,swaro, zeiss etc
  12. nice one foxes love those sort of fields to
  13. nice going keep it up. wish i could say the same. ive seen 3 foxes on both times ive been to shoot. but couldnt get the shot off at any of them. went last night and saw one fox but he wasnt hanging about.
  14. way you want silver for mate are you field target shooting ? if not and just hunting get one in black. NO , i said silver , i the reason i want silver is because it will match my stainless rifle you tart
  15. yes not the best caliber to use but close range they will more then do the job. to be fair i bet there is more foxes killed with 22lr then any other cal ! thats because its the most popular of course. and not everyone has land for centrefire.
  16. way you want silver for mate are you field target shooting ? if not and just hunting get one in black.
  17. alot of people use amax ammo mate which is a target round yet it looks just like vmax and many people have used it on fox and they say it expands ! so theres one to look at
  18. No, this is not correct. The only animal where this does apply is deer - the Deer Act specifically states that expanding ammunition must be used. Other animals are afforded no such protection, and thus the use of FMJ is legal. In some circumstances it is a useful tool (though personally I wouldn't, I like being humane), for example shooting an animal where you intend to keep the pelt. sorry but it was changed a few years ago you cant buy exspanding ammo if you dont have it on your certificate and it also states fmj is for target shooting only no mate there is no law to say you c
  19. zeiss victory 6x24x56 is the bollocks. i havent used one but seen them at shops and game fair. and others i no swear by it.
  20. or if i walk i have a friend carry the lamp
  21. Flippin' ek...you guys are all a lot stronger than me...I'd need a forklift following me to carry that weight!! feels light to be fair deker then again carrying fire doors around at work soon beefs you up
  22. yes a hunting trigger of 1lb or just above is about as low as you should go. for safety reasons and also you feel the shot better. plus in winter if you have gloves on a trigger below 1lb well out shooting is a big no imo and would more then likely go off before you could feel the pull
