That free climbing video is insane, but at least those guys have all learned to climb, and are technically brilliant at what they do. A lot of these Russian & Ukrainian kids are just thrill seeking. The clip I've posted comes from a Channel 4 documentary where a lad from England went to Kiev to meet the 'internet sensation, Mustang Wanted'. Anderson was on fire & hitting his doubles all day. Hopefully he can take that form into the world champs. I've no idea what you give to charity so I've assumed it's nothing...or at least not enough in my book. The same as you've assumed with Bono & Geldof. Three quarters? Is there a sliding scale on what it means to be charitable now...where do you sit?

I wouldn't mind betting that Bono has donated more money to charity than you'll have pass through your hands in your entire lifetime. Maybe he hasn't gone public with it? And he's doubtless put in more time and effort into changing peoples lives for the better than you have. The guy has an honorary knighthood for his charity work! Didn't see any of it..., in the boozer watching Scotland batter Ireland :-) The stuff on the night is always a bit naff but it's a difficult one as it's got to have a bit of something for everyone. Some of the clips they run are very sad but also a real eye opener. Reminds me that my own life, and the lives of my kids, could be a whole lot worse. Also, with all the negativity we're subjected to in the news every day, it kind of restores a bit of faith in humanity for me.
