Apologies if this has been covered.., used the app at a favourite spot this morning and I could hear at least five different calls but the app was only picking up one bird. Use with an iPhone, and I guess the app is only as good as the mic is at listening. Bit of a technophobe (lazy cnut) so my question is, is there any way to make the phone or app more sensitive, or can I buy an external plug in mic to improve…, anyone used one?

As a white man you’re supposed to feel offended, it’s the only reason they do it. It’s our turn to feel oppressed don’t you know. Thing is a bunch of white men (probably with beards) made up the Jesus story, and so made him in their own likeness. The same is true of Santa, Tarzan, Popeye, Don Quixote, Sherlock Holmes and Homer Simpson. Typical of today’s victim culture, some feel the need to attack the creators rather than go and write their own narrative, and think they’re on some sort of praiseworthy crusade for social justice, when in fact they only sow more seeds of division and intoleran

They don’t like it up ‘em the old English, do they. Boo every other country’s anthem whether it be football, boxing or whatever, but can’t take a wee bit back. Dry your fcuking eyes…, and to be fair not sure how much this actually comes from Littler, I think he’s better than that. “Luke Littler may never set foot in Germany again after experiencing hostile treatment from crowds during the World Cup of Darts, it's been claimed. The 18-year-old darts prodigy and his England teammate Luke Humphries were knocked out of the tournament by the host nation. They faced relent

This is about my standard. Can you spot the bird?

What are people charging for wasp nests?
pesky1972 replied to PLEDGEY's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
Found one in my loft today. About the size of a grapefruit and easy to get at, so hopefully won’t cost too much to remove. I’d have a go at removing it but I’m a bit of a sh!tebag when it comes to wasps. -
Head and shoulders above every other team and must’ve been massive odds on to win the competition. Bookies should be checking all bets laid! Seen Humphries, who seems a nice lad btw, talking earlier and was blowing his trumpet a bit. The whole honours thing is a lot of sh!te anyway, and this sort of nonsense just proves it.

Big one this.., the rapid decline of the pub trade and our drinking culture. I’m right now supping on a pint of Guinness poured through the nitro-surge (which is fcuking brilliant by the way, and pours a better pint than 90% of pubs do) watching ‘Sir’ David Beckham on a TV ad pour ‘pub quality’ Stella ‘at home’. There are a few decent pubs still going, but many a good one has gone to the wall, and most now are hanging by a thread. I think there are a lot of factors which have brought this about and sadly I don’t think there’s any going back now.., some of these places were absolutely the hub a

Recycling in action. Great to see the pigeons getting involved.

I’d love to see a British copper stand up and actually read the riot act. Sadly hell will have frozen over by the time our country finds the backbone to tell these people that they hold neither the moral high-ground nor any sort of mandate or justification for forcing these levels of illegal immigration on our society. This is more of a reflection of who we are now…

My 18y/o daughter was playing this earlier. I should probably hate it but I don’t.., think it’s actually pretty catchy.

When it comes to the great Messi v Ronaldo debate, I’m picking Messi every time. But it has to be said CR7 is an absolute phenomenon. Playing his 220th international game at 40 years of age tonight, and to be doing so when strength and fitness within the game is at the cutting edge of science. Deserves his place in the conversation amongst the select few who can be considered the best to ever play the game.

You’ve taken that too far..

So true. I went through my fly boxes a few months ago and finally threw out a load of stuff I’d had in there for maybe 20 or 30 years. I had all manner of weird and wonderful rubbish which, if it was a choice of tying it on or packing up and going home.., I’d be going home.

Great video that. I’d like one day to put a couple of cameras on a deer carcass high on a hill in the highlands, and maybe catch an eagle on it. Came close a few years ago when I was putting the odd camera out, when I came across an animal but it was picked nearly clean. There were a couple of kites flying around it but the hike in to it was so brutal through bog and thigh high heather that I decided against leaving a camera.

I did not know that. PS. I bought a bra too…, got it for half price.

Second bet on this week after picking the Derby winner earlier. Not a bad little scrap, and a whole lot closer than the bookies had it.

Hope he’s okay. Been through a lot recently by the sound of it. His input on here is always good value, and hopefully he’ll be back on soon to tell us all about a new dog he’s taken on to keep him occupied.

Only bet I’ve had all week.

I’m sure there’s a breeding population in Glasgow, and has been for a few years now.

08.00 Day off today and so jumped on here to catch up and noticed the usual suspects bickering hasn’t kicked off yet. Maybe they’re all still in bed, whilst the rest of THL get stuck into a bit of graft to keep the nation’s neck above the water? Anyway, as a younger man like most I burned the candle at both ends, and barely felt effect. Nowadays I’m up between 4 & 5 and in work before 7 after a 40 minute commute. I wish I could reset my body clock to rise and retire later but I’ve tried a few times to no avail. Not a problem now whilst I work but not sure what the fcuk I’ll do with me

Not much help I know, but my missus was there last year with her sister. She used the city e-scooters to get about. Says they were easy to use/hire and they were able to cover a lot of ground and see everything they wanted over a couple of days.

Verstappen is a petulant child. His team made two blunders with the pit-stop and advising he yield to Russell before the stewards had ruled. But his decision to deliberately ram Russell should have seen him disqualified. Some will say his uncompromising driving makes him a winner.., but to me there’s sporting integrity, and then there’s cheating. Sometimes there’s no glory in winning at any cost.
