    yeh like tc says get the board square to the net and don,t knit too long keep the net tight while knitting.ie do 30 meshes then tie it back.i also find that if the mesh gets a little bigger i just double or treble the knotts to bring them back in line but hey i,m only a novice but it seems to work for me lol

    i suspect there will be only trout or grayling in these types of water.i would not sugest leaving lines or pots just buy a cheap little rod and landing net travel light and just explore the waters with just the old trusty garden worm on the hook.thats the way i would go about it but i may be wrong

    just get some wet and dry.depends how blunt it is as to what grade you will need.just make sure you lay the wet and dry on a flat level surface lay the blade on it and off you go

    my idea would be to use a little bit smaller inside diamiter grommet and place one above and one below the running lines.thus makekeing your own inside groove
