    In Scotland we can use a full pack to flush to guns, you have to have at least two guns in place. The antis expect to see guns pegged out like with driven pheasants so if you're looking at a covert they think that the covert should be surrounded by guns. The reality is the guns are placed strategically, nine times out of ten a fox will leave covert along a hedge line, run a ditch or head to a known refuse so the most efficient method is to place a gun in one of those positions quite likely the gun will be in drab or even cammo clothing so the sabs are shouting that it's illegal hunting simply

    Yeah get roughly two hours per full charge, you need a really powerful PC to unlock the GoPro's full potential and editing etc but can get reasonable results with an average PC/laptop.

    Been doing a bit of rough shooting over the lurcher, she wasn't trained to the gun as a youngster but has always flushed birds and caught a fair few that sat too tight, she will retrieve too and has taken to the task naturally.

    Single malt man myself, I do love it and once a bottle is open it doesn't hang around long but like yourself I can go for a month or two without toiching a drop. I think you're alright until you reach for the bottle in the morning then it's time to dry yourself out.

    I've got a Lakey here who does the same he's six now and every time I use him on a bitch I have to pack everything back in for him, poor bugger. To be fair I've got a fair bit of his stuff about here now so I probably wouldn't use him again if the can help it.

    I take it as an "end user" I get a ticket for flesh and if there are any big bones they go back and the knacker yard give me a return ticket as long as everything is accounted for DEFRA are happy.

    Do a local Google search for fallen stock/knacker yards they will be only to happy for you to take away flesh f.o.c. The biggest problem you'll have is not being able to take as much as they'd like. BARF diet is not only the best to feed its also free it's a total no brainer if you ask me.

    If you've got permission always get it in writing, I just have a template letter and it clearly states that "I have been granted permission to carry out legitimate pest control using legal methods" that way if you get stopped you can show the five-0 and they are usually happy with that and don't bother the landowner at 2am (which is never a good thing for your rapport) and it also gives the landowner exclusion should you get caught/accused of any wrong doing as they have strictly only given you permission for legal activities.

    Strangest Roe I've ever seen haha White Fallow are far from rare and it's not uncommon to see the odd roe with white patches I have seen one completely white Roe it wasn't an albino either I knew of it for about three seasons and saw it quite often when we were hunting that area. I don't know much about Red Deer but I'd imagine white ones are few and far between.
