I might've driven at 72mph once but that was due to an engine management fault. If I had my way personally I would never ever kill a strong healthy fox and I mean that, I understand how keepers and farmers need to look after their own interest but I'm coming from a hunting point of view. In an ideal world never again would I have to shoot a fox but unfortunately the way the law is it means we have to.

I have never taken a shotgun out with the terriers and I'm out most days...............................I do however have a vast array of pistols lol

I believe it's against the law to release vermin into the wild but I'd be amazed if anyone ever got done for it as the RSPCA do it daily without any comeback.

Courtesy of NWTF ENGLAND & WALES. The Hunting Act (2004) regulates terrier work In England and Wales, for full details of the Act click here. Summary: This Act (schedule 1 paragraph 2) permits the use of a single dog below ground to flush out wild mammals solely for the purpose of preventing or reducing serious damage to game birds or wild birds being kept or preserved to be shot. Spring 2015 hahahaimage.jpg One of your dogs is famous !!.....you kept that quiet ! I thought that was one of the conditions when you loaned it me to keep it under the radar

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think you were the member who put up a post about ratting a few weeks back so I'm guessing that's your "pastime" I've just checked my policy and although it doesn't single out ratting it does say terrier work and if that doesn't fulfil the criteria it also says vermin control so that would be your avenue for cover surely?

As you know mate, I have pals in hunt service, my brother in law is a whip with mink hounds, other good pals are regular out with the hunt and I have been to a good few days myself. I have never experienced a "them and us" attitude actually out with the field......you will see millionaires mixing with bricklayers and chatting like the old friends they probably are. Even with my accent I never had a problem talking to anyone !! Lol It's these proxy organisations that are a crock of shit......to shit scared of offending someone to actually just stick up for the members. It's a malady in this

That's fair comment WILF if you've paid then you are entitled to your opinion. But so often people moaning have never paid a sub and when you delve a bit deeper in actual fact what they want is a right to helm around the countryside in a Scooby driving over crops and releasing two hundred alaunts on every field mouse that lives

went into depth there that explains why they will be top dogs ffs Oh wow, I thought this was a joke.................

Can't beat a bit of three way

I'm not here to fight the CA's corner but nine times out of ten the people moaning and complaining about them don't pay membership and never have. If the majority of the paying members were into coursing, lamping, rabbiting, fishing etc etc then they'd have to put more into it it's a simple case of giving the paying members what they want surely?.

Hello Stu welcome, I used to live near Alton. It's a good place if you're into fly fishing and shooting, I'm more into the dogs and it's shit for that because the roads are so busy, the ground is flinty and there are no rabbits. There are plenty of pigeons, fallow, roe, hare and muntjac but every square inch is already shot or stalked so it might take you a bit of time to get any permission. All the best.
