I thought this did go on, I haven't bought a Countrymans Weekly for a very long time but the classifieds always had a few one/two year old dogs that are not for the faint hearted and doing all legal quarry and for sale through no fault of their own. Perfect if you don't have the time to put in, personally that's not for me I love bringing a youngster through the ranks.

Like Buster said the Carhartt chore is a good jacket in dry weather, they are tough as hell. Harkilla stuff is unbeatable but not cheap, I've got a Kammo Winchester jacket and for a mid priced jacket I'm very impressed with it, nice big pockets, breathable and waterproof many people don't get the best out of their clothing because they don't re-proof them after washing.

I don't understand how a keeper doesn't have room for dogs, most keepers I know have Labs, Spaniels, at least one terrier and a few keep GSD's/Mals etc

I can't help it but I hate the term "wild camping" it's just one of those things that niggle me like huntmaster and horseback riding. f***ing off somewhere and sleeping out under the stars is just camping ain't it?. Get yourself off into the Cairngorms, I climbed Ben Macdui earlier in the year and that would be an awesome place to wake up.

I think the story goes, he bunked off church and took his hounds off after a stag and the stag had a crucifix between its antlers. Sounds like just an excuse when he got caught missing church a bit like that Jewish chick Mary what got knocked up then blamed it on God.

Would you really want to be lumped in together in a society with some of the members on here, I could not distance myself enough. When I think back over some of the idiotic things I've read on here. I would hate to be associated with "hypothetically if on full permission and my dog killed a badger or a cat am I ok?" "I like to start my lurchers pre-ban on July foxes when they are the size of tiny kittens because it gives them a taste for it without them getting bitten" "I run three dogs at a time one is the run dog, another is the catch dog and the last is the kill dog" Thank- 44 replies

That's some compromise Neal One thing I would add is that Hampshire could quite possibly the dog theft central of the U.K. It did seem to calm down a bit when I lived there but it certainly was a hot bed for lurcher, terrier and gundog theft

Full of fast busy roads,fields of flint, keepers and there are only about three rabbits in the whole county. Great place if you like shooting, fly fishing, shopping and commuting into London

I will admit I'm not easily offended (obviously as I've put up with WILF for years) but I've been racking my brains to think if I could ever think of any reason I would wish a child to be shot and apart from a zombie apocalypse which will never happen and if it did the child would be undead anyway I could not think for the life of me any reason to wish this on even my worst memphis [sic].
