It doesn't bother me when people want to believe in religion and I would defend a persons right to free speech and free beliefs but it should stay at home or between groups of like minded folks and I don't mean they should be hidden away as dirty little secrets either by all means have your churches, meetings and your sing songs etc etc religion and its leaders should not be making decisions in parliament we should live in a secular state and there should be no tax exemptions for the church. When it comes to stem cells, contraception, blood transfusions and medical progress in general we -

Should've come and said hello, I was easy to spot as I was the only person there not wearing a Ridgeline smock -
We've all got a story like that I can think of a few myself, Neil this isn't aimed at you but more at the OP but there's a massive difference between hunting one hound and one hound on a hunting day doing a solo job. It's none of my business but I'd hate to think of a hound living in solitude somewhere. They really are a far cry for your average domestic pet/working dog Absolutely, hounds are very finely tuned for kennel life within a pack also lads don't realise that huntsmen don't bring out 17 and a half couple etc. because it looks good.A pack of hounds is like a jigsaw puzzle and if you

Why do people always want somebody else to do all the leg work for them......if you want to know something about God do your own research mate dont just say " show me the proof ".......far be it from me to give advice on such a subject but i,ll tell you the same words that somebody once told me and it stuck with me...... " if you want to know who God is the door handle is on the outside "..........ie,you have to open the door to go in he,s not going to drag you in kicking and screaming........ive found it good advice myself ....if you have the desire then go looking, simple.I've tried but I f -

I respect your position pal, but could you point out the lies, like a Goodman. You believe every word in the bible that makes you a young earth creationist correct? You have to believe what's written in Genesis therefore you believe the universe, earth and all life is 10,000 years old, scientific evidence proves its a little older somewhere around 14 billion years old and that's just the tip of the iceberg. You're not going to leave your faith and neither are any others that's a shame but it's your choice. If you could show me evidence of any celestial higher being I'd change tomorrow but yo -

The bible is an amazing piece of literary work but to be fair there's no reason why it wouldn't be, it was compiled over 1,500 years and written by many different authors. It is full myth, tales, poetry, philosophy etc there are some very dark aspects in there too. I used to read it as a child in Sunday school and could never understand the logic of it but later on in my life I was lucky enough to see it for what it really is and throw religion away and now live my life as an anti-theist. I still admire the literature but there is much more fulfilment to be had in life when you live it for w -

Well said Max, I make no bones about being a hunting man but I guess I'm just one of the "unnatural hangers on" because I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I'm also not naive enough to to know that everyone on a horse is a posh twit or that foxes are run into the ground for hours. Pheasant shooting........isn't that the one that rich toffs with plums in their mouths pay thousands to drive up to a peg in a Range Rover or helicopter then pull out two Purdey's whilst hangers on walk through a covert pushing birds over them whilst another hanger on loads the guns and other hangers

Hello Ratface, best of luck mate it can be a rocky road and your first few jobs will almost certainly be testing but if you stick with it and prove yourself, work hard and show commitment the right job will come your way. This would be your first port of call Hunt Staff Registry (Jobs within Hunts) – office@mfha.co.uk
