    To me agood home is a good home and I would happily give ferrets to a good pet home, I've seen pet ferrets in all their glory, plenty of freedom, handling, socialising etc and then I've seen ferrets in so called experienced working homes that would make you shake your head in despair at the conditions they're being kept in. <BR><BR>To the guy that mentioned not giving an old biddy a working/running dog the same applies.

    The internet can be a great thing, or not. People can talk to each other and tell of their experiences and this is how we can compare things and perhaps learn something. I've had ferrets since 1977, I don't class myself as anything other than a ferret owner, but lately, especially in the ferreting section we've got a certain few people who consider themselves the oracle of all things ferrety and ridicule and call people down when their opinions differ. Keep an open mind is the order of the day. We're all still capable of learning somrthing new.

    I've two five year old jills at the moment mate and never used any of the methods suggested, I had two litter sisters go to thirteen and fourteen were never mated or any of the methods suggested used. This topic rears its head regurarly and it has been asked, has anyone actually lost a jill through leaving unmated or using one of the methods?.

    Tony Bliar and his side kicks inherited possibly the best economic situation this country has experienced from the previous tory government, what did they do with it ?, pissed it away. The only reasons I could see anyone voting labour were either, your on benefits and it suits you, you're an illegal immigrant or you work in the public sector. Labour were no friend to the genuine working man in the private sector, christ even their last ditch attempt at saving the country was to raise income tax and hit workers again whilst the workshy skip merrily by.

    They're talking about bringing in legislation to ensure the alliance runs a five year term, so we might have them longer than most people think.

    Agree totally with that chalkwarren, there's non workers and then there's those that have been denied the opportunity. A hypothetical situation, two workers bred together produce six pups two dogs four bitches, one of the dogs goes to a lightly used pet home, the other five are everything required in a lurcher and prove themselves several times over. Comes time to continue the line and the dog that is worked is killed or incapable of mating then I would personally use the unworked brother.

    To be honest mate alot of their policies are flawed, but that's not going to stop there rise in popularity, the lack of conviction and downright contempt for the electorate by the main parties is why the BNP wagon is gathering momentum. For the first ten years in power labour branded anyone who voiced concerns about immigration a racist, recently Gordon Brown called a pensioner with the same concerns a bigot. Liberals want to give 600 000 illegals an amnesty and the Tories aren't much better. Immigration is one of the main concerns (rightly or wrongly) in this election and people have no fa
