    Sounds like a good pup you have mate and thats great. However just because you MAY get a good one is no reason to buy an animal that will hopefully be with you for ten years or more. I'd want good grafting parents. Also i think that to continue to support his puppy farm whist in the knowledge of what goes in there shows a lack of respect for lurchers and dogs in general. There are so many other options of where to get a pup from out there - why pick this one? Honestly - i think it's due to lack of knowledge or experience. Out of interest what initially led you to Hancocks door?

    Ideation part of the problem is the apathy of people like yourself, nobody can claim all our problems stem from immigrants but a whole lot of them sure as hell doThere are mosques in every british city, districts where a white man would be taking his life in his hands entering, a lot of them don't attempt to learn basic english never mind integrate into our society (unless you think opening a shop is doing that). They want their own laws in our country which if I'm not mistaken already has a legal system regardless of how good or bad it is. They are offended by our religion in our own country

    The old saying damned if you do damned if you don't springs to mind, the same people who are on here questioning the police motives would most likely be the ones shouting loudest if they had did nothing and there had been more deaths.

    Might it not be a better idea to buy a collie blooded lurcher pup of the percentage you want rather than breed a full litter from a lurcher bitch that at the end of the day your unsure of its breeding.

    Was at Raggengill in Abington twice weekly in all the time Brian was alive, seen a few (not a lot of Plummer terriers) unsociable quarallsome little b*stards, the one thing that was blatantly obvious and I'm not saying the correct bull blood was used or bull blood was the way to go for that matter, but the pups I saw, Seven, nine and Lucy had a far better temperament than the Plummers gone before them, so to say the bull blood didn't improve temperament isn't accurate.

    If I was purely a rabbit man then I wouldn't be buying a pup that was expected to reach 30 inch, before anyone jumps in and says they've seen dogs this height catch rabbits so have I. Every dog will catch game if it's fit, taken out often enough and gets game put in front of it.

    Until it becomes compulsory to send all x rays of hips for scoring then we're not getting an accurate reading. A good vet will look at the plates and if the hips look as if they're going to score high then they advise against sending them as it's pointless to have a high hip score on your paper work. As a result the breed average is not in fact what it says it is, but is in fact an average of the good hips in a breed. You would see every breed average rise dramatically and get a more honest insight if all plates were sent for scoring.

    Firstly, there are a lot of townies as you call them who are owners of well behaved well trained weimaraners unlike yourself. Secondly, having a high prey drive doesn't automatically make him ideal gundog material especially if you can't stop him chasing small dogs' Thirdly, if you couldn't stop a four month old pup chasing other dogs then you definately chose the wrong dog or perhaps shouldn't own a dog. Fourthly, the trainer who told you there was no point in trying to stop him ain't no trainer.

    Let your dog back at your bitch (supervised) see if she's still refusing him, from your description I'd say she will, if this is the case it's highly unlikely she accepted him before.

    Don't think the issue was you controlling foxes or your methods employed, just probably why you feel the need to put up pictures of them after . Can only be one of two reasons, one your a tit, two your worried in case people don't believe you, which actually takes us back to the first reason, your a tit.

    Indirectly it is down to people claiming benefits rather than working, directly down to governments allowing a situation to exist where people are better off not working than working and yes consecutive governments are to blame but none more so than that last shower of shite we had for thirteen years, the benefit culture exploded under their term in office to unbelievable and unsustainable levels. We had people on unemployment benefits in this country and 82 thousand polish immigrants found work that they couldn't seem to. A massive overhaul of the benefit system is needed, this pish it's not

    Labours answer if they'd gotten back in was to tax the working man whilst throwing shit loads of money at benefit cheats, Johnny foriegner etc. We all knew taxes would have to rise at least with vat it's spread more evenly and equally, the chavs with their bling and burberry clad scrotes on benefits will be paying something towards the recovery as well as the worker. On another note I read today there were cases of claimants receiving up to £2000.00 a week for housing, how the hell is that possible and if it is true don't anyone ever try and defend labour policies.

    To me agood home is a good home and I would happily give ferrets to a good pet home, I've seen pet ferrets in all their glory, plenty of freedom, handling, socialising etc and then I've seen ferrets in so called experienced working homes that would make you shake your head in despair at the conditions they're being kept in. <BR><BR>To the guy that mentioned not giving an old biddy a working/running dog the same applies.
