  1. I was standing behind an elderly lady at the cash machine the other night, she turned and asked If I could check her balance, so I pushed her and she fell over.
  2. You're a candidate with some of the pish you post mate, just had a quick look at some of the totals they exceed the national debt. Actually wondering if some of these people are tagged and under curfew.
  3. How about anyone who say for example busts the 5ooo mark in a relatively short time gets banned for talking pish.
  4. If your thinking along those lines then why post anything, seen every species laid by the roadside.
  5. Mate, perhaps if you didn't spend as much time trying to come across as clever then you might take the time to read the OP in the correct context. He didn't ask what they might have fecking been, probably or improbably been, he didn't ask for you to eliminate species, what bit don't you understand ?.
  6. Point taken mate, they're not target species, still think if your a shooting man you should be capable of identifying non target species though. Now read my other post slowly I wasn't having a dig at the original poster. He did indeed ask a sensible question saying he saw what he was pretty sure were eagles could anyone shed any light, I might be very wrong I think he was looking for confirmation IE, escapees, reintroduction or birds making their way in naturally. Not what they might have been.
  7. Wasn't disputing that at all. When Andy mentioned eagles you jumped in with all manner of species which I assumed he could and should be able to differentiate between. You obviously didn't credit him with the same capability.
  8. Mate, if you or anyone else can't differentiate between eagle owls, ospreys and eagles you shouldn't be shooting.
  9. If it's that bad have a career change, I bet you don't though cos it's better than a helluva lot of jobs out there, most in fact. You have experience of teaching then? No not personally unless you count being taught by them and from what I recall most were bullies and social rejects that couldn't live and work in an adult environment. I know people who in the last few years have left the real world to retrain as teachers as they considered it a safer more secure and stable job to the one they were in hence my previous statement. I'd be interested to know the percentage of teach

  11. There's no doubt a lot of public sector workers do a good job and not always for great money and I don't think it should come down to public versus private as they very often feed off each other. However the private sector workers pension is also in many cases buggered and they too will have to work longer, the friction is caused by the fact labour cosied up and massively over inflated the public side of things, flexi hours, shorter week, earlier retirement etc and expected the private sector to foot the bill( as the public side generates little or no wealth) whilst paying more and working lo
  12. I wouldn't bother sticking up for a peddlar........... Don't think he is, probably means it's impossible.
  13. There's a litter of giant schnauzer x standard poodle being advertised as giant schnoodles for £950.00 on epupz.
  14. IThe majority of people shouldn't own dogs, I can relate to absolutely everything said here and heard worse. Thing is it seems contagious and getting worse I absolutely hate the nice weather as there out in hoards. I refused a woman a pup a couple of weeks back when she stood in my kitchen a nd told me that they weren't dogs, they were hairy humans.
  15. A couple of quick questions Tracy, more I suppose to do with your vet, why were you feeding the pups?. Why can't your bitch have pups in the future?. Why couldn't he feel any movement in a lurcher type dog carrying nine pups?.Thanks.
  16. I read this alot about these top lurchers being better than 99% of the gundogs you have seen, it makes me wonder just how much 'proper' working gundogs you have actually seen and what kind of level you have seen.? Have you still got this gundog whipper or are you training up another 1? Makes me wonder mate to think after selectively breeding my line of cockers for over 20 years I could have just bought in a selection of random mongrels that would perform better than my kenneled stock :whistling: Who mentioned random mongrels (bit of shooting snobbery coming out there) I'm tal
  17. I used my lurchers for gun work, I wanted them to have as many strings to their bows as possible and prided myself in the fact they were allrounders. Of the lurchers I owned all but one were decent and didn't embarress me and in fact were superior to a lot of gundogs I seen. The other one was a first cross collie/greyhound and was better than 99% of the gundogs I met and have never seen her equal for nose and finding game. I hunted a large tract of moor and rough ground that was also shot over by a syndicate and on many occasions followed them around discreetly and found what their dogs had m
  18. Smart looking mate, I reckon it would last a fortnight with a dog that chews though. You can't beat galvanised panels I've a six block setup here going on seven years old and still like new. You'll be replacing/repairing wood forever, buy metal buy them once, job done.
  19. Your average lurcherman doesn't keep them long enough to train them later. Or thinking about it, train them at all.
  20. Apologies folks (should have measured first) make that each run 7ft by 3ft, total area 7ft by 6ft by 6ft high and pick up from just outside Wishaw.
  21. Got a double run here for sale, galvanised, each run 9ft by 3ft, obviously whole set up is then 9ft by 6ft. Mesh door panels with two sides and divider solid 3/4 way up and top 1/4 mesh, dogs can't see each other and reduces noise and draughts. £250.00 no offers and buyer collects.
  22. Ok I'll indulge you, it's the summer silly season Do you actually think you could choke a bull dog off another dog?. If you can then the dog isn;t worthy of the title bulldog or you've got arms like popeye. Done it with a staffy that attached itself to my bitches face wrapped the rope lead round the very top of its neck and swung for dear life took a while but it did eventually let go. So your swinging a bulldog about thats got your bitch by the face therefore swinging both of them about causing god knows how much damage to your dog and a combined weight of what?. Do you
