are you for fecking real mate, the lad trying to give advise and telling them how not to ruin there kits before they even open eyes. this is what the site is for yer ???? That's not giving advice that's telling people that do it different to him there doing it wrong and he's doing it right. There's a difference. A couple of points regarding the advice as you call it, one, the hutch, nest box bedding etc should, if you have daily contact with your ferrets carry traces of your smell, why would that bother your ferret if it's used to it. Two, the likelihood of disease, where from?

Especially the ferreting section it would seem, I've always checked my kits within a day or two of being born, handled them to check everythings ok, I've never had a jill show aggression to me or her kits and as yet I've never had a jill eat her litter. I've also had a jill have a kit on my lap and was neither up or down but hey maybe I've just been lucky, or perhaps I'm not as experienced as the other ferret owners on here.

Can't actually believe that people still think that labour is for the working man, their plan is to raise income tax (from the working man) whist millions languish on benefits having never worked a day in their life, immigrants getting hand outs, it's the fecking working man whose paying for it. The tories need to go a step further and promise a review of the benefits system, too many shysters sitting sponging off the working man and these labour c.nts are allowing it to happen.

Build a fecking bridge and get over it, and I well remember the Thatcher years, at least the country had a modicum of respect and at least when the tories were shafting you they looked you in the eye whilst doing it, not like this mob pretending to be for the working man. A quick question, what the hell have obese kids got to do with Thatcher, lay that firmly at this mobs door, every childhood pastime banned by the PC brigade and fat kids reared by fat idle parents paid by this government to sit on their arse.

Spot on, this topic rears it's head regular andtrue to form the majority of people dismissing it have no experience of linebreeding or inbreeding, whereas those that do say go for it. It's not enough to say don't because you don't think it's appropriate or you don't agree with it.

Doesn't apply to Scotland. I believe a back bencher is tabling a motion to give local councils more powers to deal with irresponsible dog owners in Scotland though.

Do you think for one moment that would stop dog theives some who are even pulling up and snatching them off people. I think it would deter people, yes it wouldn't stop it completly but it would maybe make it harder, if say, dog wardens etc could ask to see your paperwork (for the dog) and you didn't have it, you get in serious trouble, surely not so many people would risk buying a dog that they know is stolen? So you want to give wee hitlers the right to walk up to you demand to see your paperwork for your dog, some wee jobsworth giving you the third degree every time your -

That's a very blinkered view, and one that the government will hope that Joe non dog owning public will see it from because that's how it works divide and conquer, non hunter against hunter, smoker against smoker etc. The majority of dog owners are responsible people and recognise there is a problem with total nuggets owning dogs for all the wrong reasons but this is typical knee jerk reaction from a government who have proven time and again they are hopeless dealing with situations like these, so they use a sledgehammer to crack a nut and yet again the decent law abiding citizen is to be pen -

These tragedies will continue to happen as long as we have limp wristed liberal do gooders in charge of social and child welfare, they had a visit from social services and refused them entry to the house or access to the children, that should have warranted the door going in and a full search of the place which in the judges opinion would probably saved the life of that wee girl. What did the useless b*****ds do, walked away and now stand there bleating, we didn't have the authority, well tell someone who has the authority or f**k off and pack shelves in asda.

Colour is not an issue really. Working dogs should be always kept outside in a kennel. Colour could be an issue, I personally would avoid chocolate. I keep my dogs outside because it suits me but I think you get a better bond with a dog kept indoors.

I would imagine when SH said count the rabbit he was thinking along the lines of, 1. I don't want to come across as petty, I'm among friends, I'll be sporting. 2. there's probably a lot more rabbits and action in front of me to pull it back. 3.There's no way a man (especially the one running the comp) will count a myxie rabbit. Well at least the first one was right, I don't know anyone involved here, or anyone in the comp for that matter but from the outside looking in it doesn't seem fair to look a man in the eye who travelled that distance and run on strange ground that he was beaten by

Technically the dog who catches most rabbits on the night wins the heat and if it goes on to win the competition then it's the winner of the lamping competition no more no less, doesn't make it the best lamping dog and I don't think anyone is claiming that. It's been a bad few years most places for rabbits and very likely the dog that goes on to win the competition won't have caught in all the heats the total rabbits some can secure in a night very likely that the winning dog has itself had more in a night. But it's the same rules for all and you know that before you enter.

Hellicopter up for ferreting ! !

Wednesday past they had the helicopter in the air up here for three lads ferreting, a couple of cars to boot. I wonder what the total cost to the taxpayer that would amount to ?. Someone somewhere should keep a note of the number of times this occurs, multiply it with the cost of each operation and make the resulting total public knowledge. -

how you getting on with the dog mate any news you are right about this mate get your money back but keep the dog she is yours now she is used to you and you like her its not nice to have this and i hope the breeder is banned from it. they prob do this all the time for money Whether it was an accident or not is open to speculation, but if the breeder offers a refund then no more can be done legally IE sale of goods act and if a full refund is given then he is entitled to the return of the dog, the buyer isn't entitled to the dog and a refund unless the breeder agrees to this.
