  1. I would have no hesitation in chapping a ferret on the head if it was beyond saving, and I guarantee it would be quicker and less traumatic for the ferret than a trip to the vets. To all the people who say they wouldn't, I would ask how do you despatch your rabbits when out ferreting?.
  2. Cheers mate, I really do need to buy a camera.
  3. Lurcher pups both dogs and bitches, medium to dark brindle, well reared, wormed, dewclawed, four weeks today. Sire, greyhound, collie, bull, dam is an alaunt. Both parents well worked, sire is twelve in June. I'm in central Scotland and the pups are £150.00 each. For further information pm me, cheers.
  4. Bring on the general election and get this shower of handwringing gits out, they've been kicked out in Scotland and I can't wait to see England follow suit, but then that's maybe why they're letting so many of these immigrants in in such a short spell, potential voters and all that (you're not going to vote out the party that let you in and lines your pockets) best get them out quick whilst there's still enough of us to vote them out.
  5. i dont want to know how to kill the fox i want to know how to treat the duck Marinade it in orange sauce then roast in the middle of a preheated oven at 220 degrees, gas mark 5.
  6. They serve no purpose whatsoever and are better taken off.
  7. You are more than welcome, if my input has served no more than to inform the original poster that his jills won't die if not mated (regardless of you saying they would) then at least something has been achieved.
  8. Maybe if you had looked into owning a a ferret before spouting off you would know that's crap. So your saying they don't die then? Genius. I gave a basic answer to a basic question, and the fact of the matter is that Jill's do need mating every year, well technically, as has been mentioned, they need bringing out of season, and yes, i have heard of ferrets that have survived their season without help, but would you suggest risking it? In fact would you suggest anything at all? or are you the just the type of computer hunter that will hijack someones thread and spout off to caus

  10. I think what most peoples concern is, that the whole thread was deleted and not just the offending post and link which would surely have sufficed.
  11. I wouldn't give her extra food, her body metabolism will have slowed down because she is pregnant and she won't need so much, also there is a risk her pups may be oversized and she has problems whelping. Regarding excercise keep her active without overdoing it she'll benefit from it when she has them.
  12. Well done you and hopefully the dog will get a good home, you should have drawn your boot right off the git that owned hims balls though.
  13. 208174miles 1991. Might be wrong chester but I think that jeeps an import and that's kilometres if that's the case then it's roughly 120.000 miles, good luck with the sale.
  14. I worked as a ghillie just north of Fort William for a while, the estate was nine mile up a glen and then carried on for a further five so you had complete privacy. I owned two lurchers at the time and both had taken more than their fair share of deer mostly roe and quite a few fallow and sika so it was inevitable that I would have a crack at the reds. Well they done quite a few hinds doubled up and then singly before I decided to try them on a stag, unbelievable as it sounds one of the reasons I held back was that I thought a few hinds and calves wouldn't be missed but if I killed one of the
  15. My chickens are free range, what safety measures do you think I should install to safe guard them ?.
  16. Always the same, my dad had one, my mates got one or has one never a simple yes I've got one here, then you check their profile and find out that they are fourteen or there abouts and it all becomes clear.
  17. Don't recall anybody saying they were allrounders, quite the opposite, most owners will admit quite readily that there not as fast as other crosses.
  18. Best stick to your draught excluders Leveller.
  19. A title and author might clinch the sale.
  20. If the dogs reasonably experienced and can be trusted to know the bitch is ready and he's not just a randy youngster then I'd be thinking of sedating the bitch and maybe a smearing of vaseline wouldn't go amiss.
  21. Not always the case, some bitches (greyhounds in particular) don't swell a great deal. They swell enough to notice. Probably, but thats not what you said, read your post.
