I'm born and bred Scottish, but the far North are a different breed to the central/southern parts of Scotland. I've worked and travelled quite a bit up north and there are bits and people that resemble the gory horror film wrong turn. As for highland hospitality, you've as much chance of shaking hands with Nessie as experiencing that.

Browsing the net this morning I chanced upon an article stating City mayor bans Trump from visiting his city. Usual shite I think to myself. Anyway has a look, the city is Sheffield and the mayor is a 28 year old Somalian refugee, sweet f***ing God, add to that the population of Sheffield is nearly 50% Somalian. Tell me this is a wind up, and if it isn't WTF are you lot south of the border thinking of.

Saw on the news last night the government are looking to have legislation in place by next summer regarding the sale of pups. Apparently you will need a licence to sell pups. Can anyone see it working?, will it work?, is this about animal welfare or the taxman looking for some revenue ?. Good move?, bad move?. I've no qualms with ethical dog breeders regardless of what they breed or what they charge, but not everyone is. What's your thoughts?.

See, where some of these immigrants come from that and many other things we would find abhorrent would be considered part of every day survival. I don't want the majority of immigrants allowed into this country, but I can't fault them for coming here and trying every wee trick in the book to get what they want, they don't know any different, it's what they do. I can hear about atrocities and think, shit that's bad and have sympathy, but, that's it. If it doesn't affect me or my family, I move on and forget. All this outpouring of grief from people who didn't know people seems to be the norm now. I used to hear the term professional mourner bandied about, seems it's making a comeback.

Britain isn't a country, its a group of countries which include Scotland, decisions being made affect all the countries including Scotland, at a guess I'd say that's why they sit in.
