When will people realise, They where just a money spinner!! They put very little if any! game to bed! This the reason I'm told he doesn't keep them anymore! They spent more time in pup then they ever did in the field (fact) and his original bitch is a gt gt grandmother at only 6yrs old!!!

know a couple of friends that used him, and when ken showed them the dog they said they where disappointed! Because he look more like a bitch then a dog! But never the less he still produced!

why is it when people see a dog running steady they automatically think he's a plodder! A good dog can see he's got plenty of room/time To kill the hare! So know need to bust his balls for it! Whiz bangers only any good around fields with fences and cover where the hares are hindered!!

same applies to grey x then,speeds not everything in a lurcher,steadyness,nose,feet,coat,looks all play a part in why some people get certain crosses.and im talking 3/4 bred here,most half cross is used for other stuff.half x's good for fcuk all! Haven't got the strength or weight!

get in contact with the breeders of these dogs! And ask them to take you for a spin (because there be quick enough taking your money) and see which takes your fancy! But from experience I would go for a poachers pocket rocket! Far more speed and ability. -
must of seen 4/5 of these pocket rockets working/mooching and they where far from rockets! And two of would yap there heads off once a rabbit was sighted!

Seems to me, that this j Powell just breeds for the market..£££ And when the bottom falls out of it or the dogs turn out not to be up to it!! he'll change breeds,!! Terriers/whippets/bullwhippets/bull greyhounds..!!!

a friend of mine been out with jp and his bull/whips stud dogs a black halfx and a 3/8 5/8 choc or red dog, and where both over 22" and owned 2 him self, and said they where very poor even when they was doubled up! But he couldn't speak for the bitches because they was all in pup!

There's a big difference between the both, wheatens where bred to work mute for 6mins in very little space! Bulls where bred to better another dog in as much time as it took! Be it mins or hours and had plenty of room to do so, and its well known that bulls have bettered wheatens at there own job, but you never heard of the wheatens filling a bulls shoes! Or using wheaten blood to improve the bulls..
