imho a lot depends on the style of the dog. i would imagine a collie type would have a greater chance than say a whippet type both have totally different styles one suitable for sustained constant work loads and the other for short fast sessions

depends on the deer you intend to shoot. 243 is a very versatile round as is the .270 and as there out of favour are relatively cheap at the minute -

Dairy cattle have far more human contact than beef cattle, more injuries are caused by dairy cattle because of this, most injuries being crush type against railings gates etc. but beef cattle especially with calves can be very defensive and actually do attack. hence the number of fatalities is higher than that with dairy cattle.

dairy cattle and beasts are a whole world apart knowing the difference might just save your life, after witnessing some being killed one morning it makes you rethink your own position on cows thats for sure.
