  1. Sounds idyllic. You'd certainly need a solid relationship, which would be put to the test..........& I think the workload could easily be underestimated......
  2. Pretty much if you have the facilities. I think it can be cheaper to get them via Eastern Europe as well......
  3. I love it jukel. I might look for some of the prints....;-)
  4. Yes mate. A lifelong dream gone, but he just couldn't leave such a big responsibility for his family to sort out............he did however downgrade to an American kestrel just to keep himself busy during this time......;-) A bit of black humour I knew you would appreciate. I saw a pair of golden eagles for sale for two grand. It seemed almost obscene to me that you could buy such ferocious beauty for the same price as a clapped out car! If I had the facilities to keep them I would have snapped his hand off. They are not for me. However they are incredible creatures that can actually have a
  5. Just a recommendation to any bird lovers on here & those who appreciate a bit of fine art...... My wife got me this little book for my birthday this week. It's without the doubt the most stunning collection of bird art I've seen. A collection of art from the last 200 years plus of various styles..........well worth a few quid of anyone's money ;-)
  6. Just spoke to my mate on the phone. Oncologist in his hopital made original decision without consulting a Neurosurgeon. Only when pressured did they release results to a Neurosurgeon at another hospital, who said it was no problem. My mate knows of at least one other person who just went home & died due to diagnosis from same oncologist. This is fcuking shocking & needs a good lawyer involved............which I think my mate will be doing... He sounds remarkably good tonight after having brain surgery only two days ago.....:-)
  7. Yeah you know I'm only little....haha I'm good mate, been wondering when you'd show up again. Hope you're ok & get in contact.....;-)

  9. Thanks for the kind words lads. I would of never of put all that stuff up had it not been for me starting the original thread. Just thought I better set the record straight. .....& again Dido & Mush I really appreciate your posts ;-)
  10. That's the way to do it. In truth most of us buy online, mainly because finding a place that has a good range of boots to try is so difficult. I can't think of one place near me. Plenty of outdoor shops selling a small selection of boots for rambling etc, but not much else........ I'm always looking at boots online, but wishing I could just walk into a shop & try the fcukers first! It cost me 35 quid in diesel to do the 240 mile trip to the shop for a 25 quid pair of inners! LOL. But was worth it and in addition I tried on a couple other boots and learnt a thing or two. They gave
  11. I forgot to mention, before he got the news about his op...........his flight to Madrid was one of the Ryanair cancellations...... I thought WTF?!?!
  12. In a North Essex garrison town
  13. I think it was 4. something on the bellman. That's me doing legal fox control in Germany 3 years ago. That was a single eye earth in the middle of what had been a field of maize. Very lucky we had the digger on hand......a very big bitch in a very tight place with little air in dense sticky clay......she was still in for 2 hours, but fcuk knows how long it would of took without the digger!
  14. Just an update on the thread I started a couple of weeks ago about going to Madrid for the last Bullfight of the season........ We are not going now because my mate had his inoperable & terminal tumour removed from his brain on Tuesday! I cannot begin to explain fully the shit a certain NHS hospital has put my mate & his family through over last 3 years. This was only the second time in a year they had told him with certainty there was nothing left to they could do & again they were proved wrong from an outside specialist. It all started with a small tumour in his bowl

  16. Must of been a few notches on his bedpost........ I remember the first time I leafed through a copy of Playboy & being incredibly disappointed at the amount of words..................It was a full 2 minutes before I even found a fanny, I'd normally of been done by then!

  18. They're going to regret letting women drive
  19. Frankie Boyle always makes me laugh
  20. I'm as big a sucker for American culture as the next guy born. Favourite comedians, films, music & literature.......been twice & loved it, would love to go again. Like everyone else I've put plenty of my money into that place, so I think I deserve to be taking something out, in the form of 'piss' haha.....

    Take A Knee

Thrown a brick through the window? Haha........ ....more like kicked his ball over the fence & accidentally cracked a pain of glass on a greenhouse, but won't admit it to his neighbour.......haha
