f**k all wrong with Barry . You should know that Percival. Funny though, Barrys are usually complete bellends in films, books. Never known a super hero called Barry. Haha......Actually for some reason he's gone through life with 2 names, Barry or Barney........so I even had multiple choice to get it right...:-)
  4. Haha.....bless em' I had one a while back show me a bunch of change in his hand & ask me to point out the 2 pound euro coin? Haha....

It's good in a way that unusual names are not such a big deal anymore. I had an unusual name for an Essex lad growing up in the 80/90s....... Got the piss taken out of it through school, even teachers getting it wrong every new school year & people always asking if I was welsh........................I'm not fcuking welsh!! Ok?!?! Haha..... I hated my name. I just wanted to be called john. I don't think that's such a big deal these days with all these different names........which is one less thing to worry about at school I suppose....;-) My dad was gutted I didn't name my son after hi

Just checking it wasn't my end. Thanks for that.....;-)
  8. On average earnings it really can be a toss-up between living now or living for retirement & it's a gamble either way. Frivolously enjoy life now & risk struggling like f**k in retirement or live a frugal life, often full of sacrifices & staying in, then get diagnosed with cancer before you retire!

I know it's not the done thing to mention other forums on here, but is the Falconry Forum down for some reason? Can't access it.....cheers.
  10. They should of been more aspirational Wilf & not of done silly things like borrowing money.....tut tut ;-)

  12. Personally, I'd be more inclined to believe the lack of official response is in correlation to the lack of credible evidence. By that I mean there isn't enough quality evidence to conclude proof and therefore no official confirmation or denial. I'd think that there would be further legal issues if someone was harmed and there was compelling evidence but as we found with Rochdale council it'll probably be half a century before they admit it. Like I said, it's more a hypothetical question of how would such evidence, if any, be dealt with? I'm sure Greyman said in one of his posts that a
  13. Best picture I've seen on it up to this point but as FODR posts... ... it's all about context especially as yesterday's link to the Record showed a stock picture. I believe it should be a matter of public interest if nothing more than to satisfy public interest! For all the species we're eradicating it would make a refreshing change to see one adapt to the environment no? They've allegedly done no harm to anyone. They've allegedly been here for decades. They're allegedly breeding in the wild. There's nothing to fear. Or there is a giant conspiracy where they are allegedly caus
  14. Scott my post was less about supposed cover-ups, but more about how irrefutable proof (say of cubs for example) if any, was dealt with in a public way, if at all? .....& you've thrown up another interesting question......is it a legal public requirement to report such findings direct to the police? I expect Greyman would know?
  15. That assumes that those objecting, like Fiennes, actually believe that the hunts aren't actively killing foxes. They don't I'm afraid. These days the majority of people are pretty disgusted by the thought of fox hunting. Class has been an issue in the past but I think it's very much the thought of animals being pursued and killed by hounds that is the main reason for their disgust. Of course they don't. I don't believe it's a class thing at all, just another way to try to fcuk-up hunts..... If they were so worried about toffs on horses, maybe we would see them with banners at Polo! Hah

  19. Fcuking hell Born, you're hard work!! Haha....... I'm not so saying you haven't got an open mind in general, but in this subject you've always come across as though you are sure it's bollocks, which fine, that's just how I've read you.......I apologise for getting that wrong! :-)On the subject of pics of Ardennes lynx, that's not my assumption either, I never concluded there is no photographic evidence, just making a point that most people would never know either way...... .....However I think I may of found a french language book about Ardennes Lynx on line, I'll try to get a pic of the cove
  20. Which brings up the subject of official public recognition again. I know Greyman has been laughed at on here about claims of cover-ups, disposal of bodies etc, but it is an interesting point & one worth looking at. Would it really be in the public interest to make it official that such animals exist? Say for example during the filming of something like Springwatch, they got some night footage of a leopard type cat prowling through the Cotswolds, would they air that film? Would they f**k!! (I'm not implying they have lads....haha) Maybe such thoughts are just far fetched, but i

  22. So I guess if no one has got a decent picture of one then it would support arguments as to why the same hasn't happened in the UK.......... so does anyone have a decent pic of an Ardennes Lynx? That dead one Greyman put up was a pretty clear picture of a lynx I thought A picture of one dead lynx is hardly proof they're running wild. There's the issue of credibility and context, no? You used the Ardennes as an example of how easily they are hidden and so how easily they could hide in the UK. That's a fair enough statement and it would be validated by the answer to mine. It's known the
  23. That's sounds like the Canadian Lynx. Eurasian Lynx can be double that! Still doubt they'd be killing adults. I wouldn't be too comfortable letting one knock about children though... Double? Yes. https://wildcatconservation.org/wild-cats/eurasia/eurasian-lynx/ In Siberia the Eurasian Lynx can apparently reach over 90lbs!!! Most northern examples of species often tend to be bigger. I should imagine in our neck the woods, those sizes from beast wouldn't too far off. I read euro lynx can go to 28inch in height, which is a good size animal none the less....
