Exactly. America are a victim of their own gun culture. They are too far gone for any further legislation now. They will just have to live with these incidents & toddler shooting stats......it's that simple.

In America, yeah I'd want a gun for obvious reasons........thankfully I live in a culture where gun crime is still relatively rare, so I never think about them. Maybe I enjoy more freedom? Haha....

It does seem totally confusing! Usually by now there is an indication as to the motive. His brother genuinely seemed totally shocked. From what we're being told the fella had a pretty decent and normal life. It's crossed my mind that perhaps his gambling had become a problem though. I dare say the mans internet activity will allude to the truth. It's only day 2! We expect to get all the info within a few hours....;-) It doesn't seem a snap reaction though........it looks like some planning went into this or at least some kind of build up?

Aaaanyway........ Still no obvious motive, or so we are told? Infowars has already set the conspiracy ball rolling........ Could a seemingly normal guy, with no obvious political or ideology leanings (thus told so far) be programmed to do such a thing? For the benefit of others? If not, what could possibly be his reasons?

That's great, as long as you can see that through, even when it conflicts with your own personal beliefs & feelings. That's when it can unravel. I would say Born is probably one of the best examples on here of someone who believes in the freedom to do something, even when conflicts with his own personal view......As we've discussed in the past, there are a few things you are not happy about people having the freedom to do, even when it doesn't infringe on your own life, so how much liberty do you really want people to have? Just when suits you or can you live & let live? Good point ma

I would say Born is probably one of the best examples on here of someone who believes in the freedom to do something, even when conflicts with his own personal view...... People just think I'm a gun nut or only value liberty because much of hunting is banned. But it's really more fundamental than that for me. Thanks for noticing that. It took me a while to get past the 'gun nut' thing, but I got you in the end.....;-)

I for one don't really give a fcuk what the Americans do, I think their mentality dictates the success of their 2nd amendment. I think other cultures can cope with guns better, probably even us. The Swiss don't seem to have a major problem with people running around plugging each other. No form of gun control would make a jot of difference the amount of killing & accidental deaths in the US now anyway .It's too ingrained in their culture, it's barely worth a discussion. I'd hate to see that culture in the uk, a bit more freedom yes, but not that kind of gun culture.........the NHS woul

they would probebly claim it just for the exposure I often thought they were a bit gutted about claiming the nightclub shooting a couple years back.They claimed it straight away, then it transpired the shooter was gay!

They don't look like typical Isis, but in this day & age you can't assume anything until you know all the facts...... I bet even Isis are holding back before they claim responsibility?
