    There's a couple of Muslim families on my street.When I go out with the Mastiff X, the kids run away screaming "بڑے کتے، بڑے کتے". I asked the dad what was going on (just in case they're shouting "Fat skinhead cnut" or something - well you never know !), and he told me they're saying "Big dog, big dog!". He looked at the 55kg dog next to me, and guess what - he never said a word about her being 'impure' ! Can't imagine why ! Piss myself every time it happens now!!

    Someone once told me that Romanies are descended from the Roma people, travellers are of Irish descent,gypsy is a general term for 'non-settled' ,and don't call any of them a p***y, if you want to live to see tomorrow!

    Watched the 'Panorama' about this tonight - tragic and deeply moving, the programme only served to deepen my respect for all personnel, whether serving or veteran. In US, they have the Veterans Administration, but here MOD just seems to say 'Thanks for that - see you then', and has nothing more to do with ex-servicemen. Since most mental health issues seem to surface after discharge, maybe MOD should instigate a regular screening program for, say, 2 years after discharge - they must accept at least some responsibility for the future well-being of service veterans.     Obviously i wasn't including real men like you, mate! I use kid's Factor 50 - the only thing offering more protection is a boiler suit and a welder's mask! Got really badly burnt in Margate in '87ish - absolute hell! I was willing the sheets to levitate off me it was so sore! Never again!
