Y catching crays is not classed as fishing, its trapping, crayfish can get everywhere, they walk across land to find mates, so its down to you to do some leg work, piece of string and bit of bacon, then simply do test dunks on patches of water near to where you live, streams/rivers/ponds/lakes etc, if you pull up a red signal crayfish, you have found your spot, then simply apply to the environment agency for some tags, you can have upto 10, so ask for 10, give them the location, if they give you tags, it means that no native crayfish are in the area, if they refuse, its because of that H

Take my wife's last hospital appointment as an example - Get someone to print and post a letter. Someone else now enters this information on the IT system. Have someone retrieve her notes from central records and take them to the relevant department on the day of the appointment. Next, you'll need a cleaner to keep the department in a suitable state. Mrs.B arrives at waiting room. Only now does a trained nurse shout 'Next', so that the good lady can spend half an hour or so with a consultant neurologist (trained at very great expense and paid a suitably hefty salary). The conclusions

She's 26 now, but when my daughter was a little girl, I was giving her the talk about how "You mustn't talk to strangers". Without missing a beat, she looked up and said "But I don't know any strangers, Dad !"

Used to have a couple of owners near our old house. Cool little cars, but had no idea Nissan made them ! I assumed them to be Italian............

I think that if you see a 'lost' or distressed child, you have a duty to help. If your intentions are genuine, you have nothing to fear,BUT if you're a man, I think your best bet is to stand still with the child, and wait for either the parent to see you, or to spot police/security and let them take over.

This is a supposedly 'free country', but, following the 're-editing' of the BNP's party political broadcast recently, another of the 'patriot parties' has found themselves on the wrong side of the multi-cult's at the BBC, and had their broadcast removed completely ! http://www.britainfirst.org/britain-first/help-us-beat-the-bbc-fascists/ I can't find a link to the 'offending' broadcast, but it was shown on ITV Border earlier tonight.

Never mind the auction bollox, if you're on here, I'll take £300 - no offers.

One that's compatible with your rifle, mate. The one's you've been using may not be suitable for your weapon. Try a trip to Welsh Willy at http://woodfield-gcp.co.uk/ I'm waiting for my service kit, but I hear nothing but good things about him/them. Good luck, mate.

I had a school-mate who would chew up and swallow fag ends to get off school for the day. Used to make him look proper pale and sickly (no surprise there, really!), and his mam fell for it every time. Would even make him throw up sometimes, too. (Again, no surprise there !) Don't know if it's true, but he told me it's an old POW trick.................. Was he a POW before he went to school then? No mate ! He only surrendered in later years, to avoid having to use the 6th form common room !

Large parts of the NHS have already been privatized by the back door. My wife's last three appointments have involved tests and examinations contracted out to private companies - public money going into private hands ! This government have gone one better and given the entire management of Hinchingbrooke hospital over to a private company, Circle Healthcare. Everywhere you see this constant undermining of hospitals - targets, special measures, CQC investigations etc - in a not-very-subtle move to 'soften them up', easing the way, prior to privatization. Anyone concerned about 'two-tier

Where does that say that Farage endorses an article by his health spokesman ? If you think Labour are the saviours of the NHS, just look at the mess they are making of it in Wales ! Two things that would really help the NHS are - 1 - A massive reduction in the bewildering, labyrynthine bureaucracy and management structure that has engulfed every aspect of healthcare, to the point where it is little more than an exercise in pointless targets to meet, and meaningless boxes to tick. 2 - A system to reduce the amount of missed appointments. 1% of the NHS budget is wasted simply b

So as long as I don't drink a glass of Coke, followed by a glass of milk, then stand still for 6 hours, I'll be OK ............?? If you mix two acidic substances, you get a chemical reaction. Is the Nobel panel aware of this........?

But even if a defendant is found 'not guilty', that doesn't necessarily mean that the accuser lied. There has been no suggestion that these allegations were malicious, simply that there was insufficient evidence to provide enough certainty of securing a conviction. There are almost never any witnesses to a rape, so it nearly always boils down to circumstantial, interpretted or character evidence. And remember that the defendant does not have to prove his innocence, so victims, already traumatized by their ordeal, face embarrassing, intimidating or almost slanderous questioning when they ap

I saw it Tomo, amusing, yes, but not one word of policy. Have they changed their policy on the economy ? They brought the country to the brink of bankrupcy last time they were in power, so what will they do diffeernt if they get in next time ? Same as immigration, they admit now that the let far to many in; so what would they do next Time ? PPB.s used to be about policy, but now it's just slagging off each other, they all do it. By the way, I would rather stick pins in my eyes than vote for any of the three main parties, so I'm going to give UKIP a go this time; their policies, such as they ar

My Dad was a good, self-taught guitar player. He tried for ages to teach me, but I just couldn't get the hang of it. Only much later in life did it dawn that this was because he was right-handed and I'm left- handed ! At a bit of a tangent, but my Dad told me this true story................ In the late '50s he and his twin brother sang as a vocal/guitar duet. (Think Everley Brothers and you'll have an image). They must have looked pretty cool in their sharp suits and quiff hair-do's.......... Anyway, one night at a working men's club, they're approached by a chap from a record

Didn't Churchill say something along the lines of 'appeasement is like feeding a crocodile, in the hope that it will eat you last' ?
