Must admit im not a big music fan but been listening to a bit of The Smiths lately.....Girlfriend in a coma and all that caper.......all a bit sameish but some catchy little numbers i quite like them Have a listen to Rusholme Ruffians, Nowhere Fast, Cemetery Gates or I Want the One I Can't Have - fabulous lyrics ! Some of the more obscure tracks and B sides are, in my opinion, better than the more commercially successful material........they were a great band, no denying that !

You forgot beer and wine, they contain finings which have extracts of fish bladders. In between "catnip" and "Tango"........ it's called Isinglass - I use it in my wine recipes

Why stop with pigeon racing, fishing and hunting ? Let's protect ALL living things from ALL kinds of 'mistreatment' ?... What about banning..... Fly spray, slug pellets, nit shampoo, worming tablets, Venus fly traps, agricultural pesticides, dog shows, cowboys on horseback, scarecrows, mouse traps, feeding pet reptiles, flea treatments, antibiotics, catnip, beer (cleared using animal collagen derivatives), Tango (contains gelatin) and fruit, because an insect might have died on it............ Well, none of that's any dafter than PETA'S demands.......

Two of these idiot types recently managed to get themselves elected to the RSPCA ruling executive - don't be too quick to dismiss ! Yes but with any luck it could be the downfall of the rspca. I love watching these numpties making fools of themselves. Try to see it from their point of view though.... You might spend many years, selectively breeding a racing bird - if you can't be bothered to do that, just spend several hundreds of pounds on one ! Then, you keep the bird in the company of dozens of it's own kind, in a spacious loft, which is regularly cleaned. Feed them the very best
