    The first secret societies began life as small warrior clans (the Templar Knights for instance). Later, trade organisations were formed, to promote their own protectionist or political agendas (Worshipful Company of Butcher's etc). Religious societies are self-explanatory. Today, the Masons are still represented in the echelons of Government and finance, but the Buffs are in decline, unfortunately.

    Growing up, I always thought the Buffaloes were sort of reject Masons...There was a Buff's club on our lane, which had great social nights that my parents would go to quite often. Many around our streets were Buffaloes. You knew when you went into the houses and seen the broken clay pipe on a pipe stand on the mantle or sideboard. It always took pride of place.     The left-leaning has definitely got worse these last few weeks. In particular, news bulletins that begin with "How many migrants should Britain accept ?" get my back up, as wasn't aware that other options had even been debated.......all news media has been guilty of this, but I expect the BBC to at least try to maintain neutrality - leave the sensationalism to the commercial channels.     I'm pretty certain that the Masons don't have anyone called Poobah - I believe they're called names like "Grand Master" and "Worshipful Master".......... ......unless anyone knows different ?

    Let's just all calm down,take a moment, and put ourselves in the migrant's shoes ! Imagine yourself back to London, 1942.......the Blitz ! We've all seen the pictures, watched the newsreels and maybe even have relatives who were there...... Whole neighbourhoods lying in ruins, large numbers made homeless and many thousands dead....whole cities engulfed in smoke and rubble...destruction and carnage at every turn....confusion and panic, as civilians come under merciless attack, unable to defend themselves from the enemy that stalks them at every turn....food is in short supply...

    Someone needs to say this......... "WE ARE BEING INVADED !" Merkel has stated that the number of migrants "will change Germany and it's future", and she expects other countries to follow her lead, like lambs to the slaughter ! They don't even have to bother sneaking in through the back door - Europe has left the front door on the latch, left the key under the mat and said " let yourselves in and make yourselves at home !"

I wonder if everyone that "liked" and "shared" that image on social media would be happy to see the benefit cuts responsible for the rise in foodbank use reversed?     Ive often fancied learning about this, but only recently did I discover that when a mushroom is "poisonous", it doesn't mean "Jippy guts for a couple of days, that'll teach to you to be more careful", but "collapse and suffer a painful death within a few hours, with no hope of treatment" !     Never hang your head in despair over those idiots, they proved in the last election that they don't represent many people. All the judicial reviews etc won't change a thing.     Agreed. I would rather have a PM that took them out, when he had the chance, rather than one who tries to explain why people died because he had to get prior approval to attack our enemies.
