One reason - Geography.. Same reason that Scotland was never fully subdued and the Welsh language and culture survived despite the best efforts of the English, Romans, Saxons, Vikings, Normans, etc over the years. Some places are more suitable for warfare and conquest than others, Afghanistan is extremely unsuitable for it..

I think what happened over Syria is one reason why Putin has become so emboldened, I said at the time that it made us look weak.. I reckon Crimea would still be part of the Ukrane if we'd have acted on Assad after the chemical weapon attacks there..

my missus works for their head office wich is based here in town,bank holiday difficult to get our usual freebe ,she will see what she can do,nice park been there many times over the years and tenby itself is a cracking place cheers pm Malt he'll put you all up, say walshie said it was ok. yeah reckon he would put us all up.................................NOT Well he's just bought a new shed so you never know. It suddenly makes sense.. Moyes' contract stated that he was only entitled to a year's compo if he failed to qualify for the champions league and was sacked.. Just wondering if there was some sort of clause in his contract. After we lost yesterday it became mathematically impossible to finish in the top 4, just seems an odd time to be sacking him with so little left of the season..

Must be a different Sky Sports news where you are, all I've got here is Gillette Soccer Special.. i knew id get some of you to look mate......... if he does go tho i wonder who will come in??? tbh cant see them sacking him with 3 games left............. I had it on anyway! It's all over sky news though! Giggs as caretaker manager for the rest of the season I reckon, think he's got the qualifications and all.. Could even get Meulensteen back to help out for the time being, he's a free agent at the minute.yeah yeah i bet you was on the remote quicker than a tramp on free chips.........

Lot of chatter about the place right now, no smoke without fire.. Going to cost a bloody shitload of cash to get rid of him, 6 years of wages.. He won't have done bad out of his tenure, should have had a clause added to the contract with some minimum requirements..
