  3. After just coming back from visiting my 28 year old sister in hospital where she is recovering from having a cancerous tumour removed from her breast, I can safely say Packham has just over taken Piers Morgan at the top of my list of Celebs I'd definitely punch in the mouth if I ever came face to face with..
  4. I've also had a few pints with Walshie, was a good night! I had to finish the last 3/4 of his last pint for him though...

  6. Been there before and all! Was fishing the back of a cliff at a place called Lydstep years ago and there was a storm brewing miles offshore. Was quite happy watching it from a distance until a lighting bolt came down about a mile away straigt in front of us. I f****d off sharpish back up to the top of the cliff where the car park was, I was almost on my belly crawling back to the car! My mate Terry sauntered back up the cliff 10 minutes later with a big grin on his face and a roll up hanging out his mouth! "I've been out in much worse than this mun" he said as he got back in the car!

  9. Dont seem that long ago, mad how time flies.. Think I was about 18 and I was seeing a bird called Sally when "Don't look back in anger" was being played in all the night clubs! Well Sally couldn't fecking wait the first night I was with her, and thanks to a dodgy back window on my mates mums Volvo which he was driving on that night and had parked in a car park a short distance from the club... She didn't fecking have too!

  12. Aye, makes me feel like I've got to do something for the charity now, see the wee old lady on her jumper is my granny who suffers and it's horrible to watch, someone dying inside right before your eyes. Just what to do, thinking about the Glasgow to edinburgh cycle, but only leaves me 4 months to train which isn't that long really..... Aye it's horrible mate.. My nan's street was an old fashioned type of street where all the old folk were mostly all friends of the family and the closest were called auntie or uncle. My nan's distant cousin lived across the street, used to call her auntie Nene

  17. Was built before his time mate.. First buildings there were made shortly after the Normal invasion, the current lot were built by William Marshal. Lot of history there, the future King Henry VII was born there and Oliver Cromwell had to come down in person to oversee the breaking of a siege during the Civil War after it defected to the royalist side.
