Far better explanation than mine. TC I know how it works as well Al, done a bodywork course that included a few mechanics modules back in the late 90s. I couldn't even begin to try explaining it though!

Not just that, what happens when you start a car that's in gear without using the clutch? It jumps and dies, it does not speed off down the roadDose it ? I rember driving a few cars home once clutch has gone that very wayI had a car like that VW golf twice the clutch cable snapped......turn engine off put it in gear and turn the ignition and it jump starts I remember changing up was easier than changing down without a clutch I've also driven a few cars with snapped clutch cables over the years using that method..

They want to get on with the job of running the Scotland that exists here and now. Personally I think this is all smoke and mirrors, if I was living there I'd be keeping an eye on the legislation they try creeping in under the radar while indy 2 is hogging all the headlines.

Think it came to light that they used footage of a baby panda that was filmed in a zoo if that's what you're on about? It's hardly 'fake' footage through, they're real pandas.

I'm looking forward to it, got series one on Blueray here. Reason they have left it so long is because it takes so long to gather enough quality footage. The camera work and content of the first one is some of the best nature program footage I've ever seen.

Problem with most half decent formal jobs these days is every c**t is over qualified due to the amount of bullshit degrees that people now have. If you ain't got anything formal you're better off looking for work using your social circle or in the pub. Most jobs I've had have been through word of mouth or just plain going into somewhere and asking for work.

No it isn't,in fact studies have shown identical twins raised in totally different environments will grow up to have not only almost exactly the same IQ but also similar personalities. The same is true of children whose biological parents have high IQ's,even when they are adopted out to parents with low IQ's they still grow up to be like their biological parents,the reverse is true also and the same goes for personality. ..also think the Joker/Harley Quinn relationship was way off. The Joker is supposed to be totally psychotic and beyond having feelings for anybody apart his constant obsession with Batman. In other media Quinn was nothing more than one of his victims suffering a very extreme form of Stockholm syndrome and hero worship. He tolerated her presence as long as it amused him and was constantly, brutally violent towards her. I'm all for diffferent artistic interpretation but this version of the Joker is nothing compared to the ones that have come before. Ps, yeah I'm a geek!

I watched it last night and all, was OK but I've seen better. I like the DC films on the whole, but I think they're trying to hard to catch up fast with the Marvel cinematic universe. It also didn't help they brought out Man of Steel as a more serious sort of sci fi film rather than your usual superhero sort of film, it all feels a bit disjointed. Still holding up hope the Flash is going to do justice to the character and also looking forward to the stand alone Batman film that's in the pipeline.
