  6. Off the two i'd PERSONALLY perfer the sako 85, IN stainless lol both will be accurate but resale value i feel would be better in the 85 also have a good action if you ever want to go the custom route... I've read of issues of stock flex in the pro hunters, the 85 Is a little lighter if your hill stalking but thats neither here nor there, As i carry around a 13lb gun myself.... Your money, your personal choice.... good luck with whichever you choose.. Snap.
  7. Taken from winchester ammo themselves.... There are a lot of questions about these two cartridges. Many people think they are identical - merely different designations for commercial and military. The truth is that, although somewhat similar, they are not the same and you should know the differences before buying either cartridge. •The cartridge casings for both calibers have basically the same length and exterior dimensions. •The 5.56 round, loaded to Military Specification, typically has higher velocity and chamber pressure than the .223 Rem. •The 5.56 cartridge case

  16. just to put my two cents in, i totally agree that 5.56 should NOT be used in .223, you may get away with it for years or it may go bang on the first round..... it's like playing russian rolute.... the odds will sooner or later will not be in your favour.... Snap.

  21. i use it for fox and deer mate, i shoot either 95grain sst or hornady 100g sp for deer.... and 87g v-max for foxy.. killing range is all in your ability to place the shot.... with any weapon. fox i've taken at 437 yards longest to date..... red about 216 i think it was... fallow 282 yards.... although most of my shots for deer tend to be around 200 or so yards, if looking for a dual purpose cal. then i'd recommend it, but its all about personal preference. build up your knowledge of the cal. you buy, And then when your comfortable, you can then incr
