Would of also went for the 32g 6's.... however, you may have to try a few different makes... as pattern's will vary... ATB. Snap.

deer calibre, .270, .308, 6.5x55 or any others

personal choice would be the 6.5x55 se, shooting 129g hornady sst, all the bullet you'll ever need for deer, and extremely accurate. if thinking of maybe boar down the line then i'd go .308, but i've seen the 6.5 take some impressive shots this season.. Snap. -
i do believe that if you have the ability and confidence to take the shot, then you are within your right too, i have the utmost respect for the quarry i hunt, and have spent many years building up the level skill, As i'm sure most do... But there are also cases where people go beyond their skill level and hope it pays of... i do not agree with this type of shooting. time on the range pays of on the field...... simple as... ATB. Snap

if you HAVE the ability to hit stuff at long range then WHY not...? if your looking for custom turrets, you'll need the velocity of the bullet, the bc.. altitude most use 500ft as an average, if your interested check out kenton industeries, their in the states and have many different styles, hope this helps you out.. most shooters go for the 1 in 12 twist, but if you want solely to shoot the heavier range of bullets in the .223 range, then you will need the 1 in 8 twist.. the reason you need the faster twist for the heavier bullets is because heavy bullets always tend to be longer in length and require a faster twist rate to stabilize the bullet as it travels down the barrel.... you can put as stated already that the .22lr will be used for close range rabbiting and you will be wanting to keep the rabbits shot with the .22 for food, be it for pets or yourself, .17 hmr for long range vermin control, crows rabbits, etc..... Also the hmr will be more accurate than the .22 at the longer ranges hence the need for the 2... good luck with it. Snap.

hey mate, you don't say what type of dog the problem is on, If its not a collie, then ivermectin based products will cure the problem in either, oral form or subcutanious injection, these can be ivomec super, animec, mega mectin, eco mectin, or if you are near a farm that uses tactic, or your farm suppliers should have it, be warned its expensive, Also wear gloves when examining the area, you could contact it also... You can buy a slimline doggy life jacket, it will build up the dogs swimming confidence, but don't use it out shooting as he may get tangled on scrub, or branches in the rivers... After a while try to see in shallow water if the dog has gained confidence without the jacket..... its not an easy problem to solve good luck. Snap.

i wouldn't rate the hawke for a centre fire..... Save up and spend money on a quality second hand optic, you'll save money in the long run.... Snap.

Kay, As soon as i land in the street the dogs are at the jeep waiting for a pat and some attention... the liitle pups lovely isn't it.... there are a few st. bernards about too but i never got any pics of them... As 2 are new and slightly nervous.. thanks, Snap.
