1. yes WHY the need, danger's for a squid round are emmense, Watch yourself. Snap.
2. IF you are confident you can place the round where it needs to be the .243 is very capable of taking ANY deer species in the uk. This topic has been argued to death before and everyone will have their own opinion, however the 6.5x55 swede is an excellent calibre too... If you don't feel confident practice at the ranges you intend to shoot too, As for gun and scope its all down to personal opinion again... some prefer fixed mag... other go for variable. power.... If you can go for a quality scope, then splash out, if not look for a quailty optic second hand.... you gotta b

6. you get it in the states mainly, not sure were in the uk supplies it, but it will come under "haz materials" standards and cost a few quid to ship.... http://www.heavyduty...8-pr-21872.html hope this helps you, ans it devcon if your looking to do a search on it.... Atb. Snap.
7. Welcome to the site mate, used to do the ol diving myself, welcome back to the land of shooting. Snap.
8. i'd personally go for a varaible power scope myself, 500 quid should get you a fairly good scope, or a quality second hand optic... 4x16 or 6.5 x 20 power will give you a good choice, look for finger adjustable, or sniper type turrets, for ease of use... this scope mag range will suit both the .223 and .243, good luck with your new purchases... Snap.
9. personally, why limit yourself to 200 yards, IF you are not confident past this range try getting on target on paper first, Its an excellent scope and will do the job spot on for you. however, if you increase your ability, you'll want to extend the range somewhat and need variable power..... just something to think on.... before you make your decision... good luck.
10. cracking shot, there, pity you couldn't get a better image...

Well done.

Snap.
11. another nice shot, well done mate... Snap.
12. 100g will be fine for the fallow, you can shoot foxy with them to if you dont wish to change the point of impact, however, i use either 58g max, or 87g v-max, the later been used for the most part now, if your allowed to use below 100g for the deer, i'd also really say the 95g sst will take fallow with ease providing you do your bit.... i take a note of the adjustment made for poi write it down and just reverse the clicks to re-zero for the lighter round.... never any trouble, switching bullets then... Any time you want drop me a line, only to glad to help. Snap.
13. One sound lady..... proud to know her...

14. you should be about 2 inches or so low at 200 depending on the rounds your shooting.... advice would be to set a board up at 200 and see whats happening... but your looking around the 2 to 2 1/2 inch mark, in the .243 depending on velocity, and bullet weight of course. Good luck with it. Snap.
15. very nice toni.. its a he/she...lol Snap.

19. Gallup 360 is the copy of round up and lots cheaper, only about 3% difference in total glyphosphate, happy shopping. Snap.
20. As stated above roundup, or the equivilent is gallup 360, both glyphosphate based weedkillers, they will need a couple of hours dry weather, scutchout 360, or weedfree 360 is the exact same thing. All these products kill from the root back so it will be about a week to 2 weeks before you see the weeds dying, 2 to 3 sprays a year should see you right, If bramble type weeds, try garlon, scrubkiller, grazon 90. hope this helps... Snap.
21. stunningly beautiful shot, Well done.
