  1. nice shots... i feel i need to invest in a 300mm after looking at some of your shots.... hehe Snap.
  2. yes i've heard that too, best to keep an eye.. hope you get sorted.. Snap.
  3. I'd say the racer dog food is quite strong for a young pup mate and may be too rich for him.... or if you have changed the diet or brand of dog food this will lead to scouring also... redmills do a puppy food which is very good but costly around 40 to 45 euros i think it should be.... but should last a while... you also say you wormed him thursday, this could cause stomach upset also, so if the pup wasn't scourng with the racer nuts, i'd put it down to the worming.... you should see the stools harden up within a few days... it also may be a virus type scour, so just keep an eye on
  4. hey guys i have a set of screw together cleaning rods, the rod end accessories, hoppes gun oil in a case..... its not real quality, but for someone starting out on a tight budget or on hard times will do the job... all you will need is the patches and bore solvent... its for .243 cal.... i will post this free to whoever needs it just drop me a pm.... ATB. Snap. (ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU GENUINELY NEED IT)
  5. you can't fault prue raw talent....... nice one mate.. Snap.
  6. REMEMBER NOBODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER......................... And one of my fav singers at the minute........ my sis makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand playing this on the keyboard..........
  7. stunning shot toni... how did you manage to get such a good close up? or you using a good zoom lens...? ATB. Snappy.
  8. really can't wait for the insects to start to appear ATB. Snap.
  9. i've swam with a pod of them a few years ago, they are stunning, ATB. Snap.
  10. give strong stuff off here a pm.. Snap.
  11. depends what your going to use it for mate.... i prefer vari for a dual purpose of long range foxing, target shooting, and deer. some people don't like the fiddling with zoom, paralex, etc. if it were me i'd go for the vari.... Snap.
  12. quality mounts and galss is essential, if you cannot afford the new route go for second hand quailty, buy once cry once.... its glass you'll have for the rest of your days rather than trading up and loosing money all the time... it pays to see what others are using who you will be shooting with or shooting with.... for a foxing and deer setup i use a vari power scope.... 6.5x20 some like a fixed mag.... but its not much cop if you want to stretch for a long range shot... again personal opinion.. good luck.. Snap.
  13. depends on components used, such as brass brand, primer type, head type, powder load, so there is no easy answer, but what you save you will mainly be used in load development until you get your accuracy load... but the increase in accuracy and performance is worth it. Snap.
  14. contact IanB he's the main admin and will change it for you.... Snap.
  15. its the size of a cigrette lighter.... but anything that gives you the info you require can only be a good thing.. Snap.
  16. I've tried my best here mate and with the info i could glean from the net and ballistic calc... i'd rezero for the sako 55g your talking about 200 to 250 fps slower than the 45g remington's but with the 45g remington's going that little bit faster, they have nearly the same ft/lbs of energy at 200 yards.... but the 55g sako gamehead will have better weight retention on impact, and you will need this to shoot goats humanely.... As for drop there really won't be alot in it..... so rezro with the new 55g bullets and your off... Snap.
  17. there is such a thing already up and running, but its used for tracking children.... its really small and uses a mobile sim card which is linked into google earth so you can see exactly where the person/ object is.... you can also set boundries in google earth so you get a text when the area is breached.... check out max tv website for those intrested... ATB. Snap.
  18. what does it say on the boxs of ammo as regards style... ie... accu-tip remington...? as each style will have a different velocity... and bc. remington brands of ammo. Ammunition Selection 30 Remington® AR Power Level® Ammunition Managed Recoilâ„¢ Premier® Core-Lokt® Ultra Bonded® Premier® Sciroccoâ„¢ Bonded Premier® AccuTipâ„¢ Premier® AccuTip Vâ„¢ Premier® A-Frameâ„¢ Premier® Copper-Solid Core-Lokt® Premier® Disintegrator® Varmint Premier® Match 223 Rem SPEEDHEAD ■■ 223 Rem GAMEHEAD 223 Rem ARROWHEAD, sako brands..... check these to see whicj you have and pm me...
  19. Ta Snap, I offloaded all of my reloading gear and stick to single specific rounds in each rifle now so they should do exactly what they say on the tin if you can get the alti roughly right were you do most of your shooting using an altimeter, or windmeter with built in settings such as baro, alti, etc. bc. of bullets, it'll be real accurate, best of luck can't wait to see how you get on with them.. Snap.
  20. Alright jigsaw, if you know the brands and styles of both makes of bullets check out the spec's on both the manufacturer's websites.... for velocity, and drop, if you have any trouble finding the info pm me the styles of both bullets, ie. core loc for remington, or accu tip.....etc and the same for the sako's i'll try and get you the data,.... gotta rush off in a mo, though.. Snap.
  21. i can vouch for the quality of the turrets mate, and the accuracy of the dialing, and as you say they are cheap..... my mate bought 2 sets for 2 different guns and they are bang on the money at the ranges dialed... the only reason i dont use them is i use a variety of rounds in the same calibre, so a bit pointless for me to purchase... you won't be disappointed.. Snap.
