  1. finding it the same mate, it really really slow at times.... don't know why though, but other forums do not seem to be suffering....???? strange.... any conspiracy theories... lol
  2. iv fired a steyr aug staight pull thingy good to hold and shoot (apart from it being a straight pull ): ) oh you really would have fun the the full auto....lol cracking bit o kit... Snap.
  3. i've had a mate shoot crows over 500 yards away with the .204, he's using 32g and 39g heads and reloader 10 as the powder... its capable of taking fox well past the 300 yard mark, if your on the ball... Accuracy with some rifles depends, he had a ruger .204, and it was a tack driver, he then changed for the sako 85 in .204 for the drop mag, and it simply wouldn't play ball at all, i thought it was a howa he then bought but he's told me it was a remy .204, its really on the money and will shoot 1/4 moa on a good day. and 1/2 inch all day no probs... he's tried teh 40g heads but
  4. Its the truth mate, i've seen SO many dogs ruined by owners who expected to much to soon from a potentially great pup, only to get frustrated and punish the dog... I've seen a great springer ruined by an owner cliping the dog for not retrieving quickly enough, And the dog got that nervous that it simply wouldn't take the downed bird to the owner..!!! And owners working the dogs too hard over rough ground, and working them till they tire and cannot hunt, only to take it out on the dog...!!! These are the men you will see at least every year or two changing dogs or breeds, As t
  5. I personally think its down to the way Any line is trained... and the time taken, my mate has had springers most of his life, and the two best dogs he had where from the rytex line, these dogs could be worked by anyone on the whistle, Sometimes my mate would be a little hard on the dogs letting them away with little if they ranged too far...!!! But when i took them out myself, i could keep them in range 95% of the time, they were totally awesome in heavy cover like we have here, And you had to slow them up as they would simply cut themselves up in the heavy cover.. t
  6. Very nice looking pup mate... And very strong looking one, something tells me hes gonna be big too.... Good luck with the training.. Snap.
  7. there where many reasons for the armies to change from 7.62 to 5.56, Studies found that it was in fact more pressuring to wound your foe rather than kill them, eating up valuable resources, Also Another reason for the change was a weight issue where the GI could carry twice as much 5.56 ammo as 7.62, most of the current armies are now looking for a better calibre to take over from the 5.56 and 7.62, the SA had a very poor reputation whenever it was launched, and they would of given there right arm at that time to change for the styer AUG.. very intresting to see what w
  8. There wont be a awful lots of difference if both calibres have a good mod on. At least you won't notice the difference unless your measuring the sound with insturments... and not by ear. It also depends on the lay of the land, surrounded by hills etc..... as it will make any calibre seem louder.... other things to consider are performance and cost... barrel life will be much greater in the .223, but better performance will be achieved velocity wise with the 22-250... Just a matter of what you want most other than noise issues.... both are capable of accuracy at range....
  9. glad you got it sorted then, you would really have to give about 5 times the recommended dose to do damage to cows or sheep, But as they say better safe then sorry.. ATB. Snap.
  10. cheers kay, Was just a matter of getting out, i'm not over the moon with them but hey... it's all practice..lol Snap.
  11. you get patches for the hmr, it will also need a copper cleaning routine... get yourself good quality rod too, like dewy for the .17 i always find after cleaning it takes the hmr a while to get back to accuracy.. good luck. Snap.

  16. panacur 10 % is the strongest form of panacur, cattle and sheep, fenbendazole is the active ingredient as stated... Any oral drench ending in AZOLE is classed as what is called a white drench... you also get panacur 2.5 % And panacur SC, { contains selenium and cobalt} 1ml/ kg seems very very strong to me. I'd be very very care full if you suspect a dog with a heavy worm infestation, As using a dose this Strong could lead the animal going into anaphylactic shock, and could lead to death... A 10% solution will have 100mg per ml of Fenbendazole, And in most cases i see o
  17. i voted for you to give it back, or half at least, i'm sure he knows he done wrong, and he did offer it up freely, i'd give him 40 back, i'm sure he has learned from his actions, but he needs to respect that injuries COST money.. And when he pays or partly pays he'll think before his actions next time... ATb. Snap.
