  1. it will be very borderline mate, the 1 in 12 has trouble with the 39's too, and only a handful of guns i've seen would shoot the reasonablely well Snap.
  2. i'd highly recommened tha archer barrel, the price depends on what you want, ie, 5r rifling, standard, flutes, profile, etc.... save the money ,go for an archer and spend the extra you would pay on fluting for it.... 1 in 10, will be the business, the 1 in 12's just about stabilize the 40g, and even some 39's have bother... Snap.
  3. like the first mate, great feeling of the effort of getting into flight...
  4. if someone is shooting your gun and gets injured during an accident then there will be legal implications if the gun is NOT in proof, i know the odds are very very slim, but i'd always error on the side of caution,
  5. have you adjusted the paralex error if you never had a socpe with such adjusment..... Snap.
  6. i'd say if you were keeping it long term its up to you, but i proofed mine when i got the custom job done, just leaves everything in order. And if there ever is issue with ammo, or injury at a stage, then you will have no legal comback if anything happens, As the barrel is outta proof Snap.
  7. general mesh should be available at a good rate from a builders merchants, and should be local so no real delivery cost....
  8. hence i stated blitzking mate, but i'm sure the blitz are every bit as good... and the softpoint will do the job... i'd also recommend the 87g v max, they really shoot well for me into the .2's with five shot group...
  9. If its your general chain link crossed mesh, you should get it fro any builders merchants, or even most Agri outlets... Atb Snap.
  10. yes in .243 win, that was with a 1 in 10 twist mate, in a standard tikka barrel, i've had a custom job done since and not used them yet, in the 1 in 9 that was with 47g vit n160 win brass, and fed 210 primers, gace a velocity of 3310 fps... Snap.
  11. i have tried the 70 grain sierra blitzking to devastating effect out to 437 yards on foxes, good accurate round, and hard hitting, so i'd say the 80g would be the same, cannot recommend the blitz king highly enough,
  12. the td5 is easier on fuel than the tdi300, deending on hoe you drive it, the 300tdi is dead compared to the td5, which is a five cylinder, parts are cheap on both so don't let that put you off, the head on the td5 is aluminuim so if you overheat it, its a new head simple as, the 1999 td5 was crap anything after is ok, the main problem with the td5 is the fuel pump will go about 100 to 120 thousand miles... the td5 is a more comfortable ride also, and better finsihed internally, i drive the TD5 and my brother drives the 300tdi.... so i'm talking from experience.. sn
  13. you could do a T.A.B between a few towns, say 20 miles with weighted pack, and get a few collecting money for you as you go snap.
  14. Hi mate, If your laptop didn't come with an xp disc, IF it is a lappy, check the back of the laptop to see id theres a windows sticker on it, it can do an xp reboot, but you may need to use the start up discs you got with it, failing that, refer to 2 posts up..... and read the high lighted print... Snap

  18. Assistant manager of a retail business.....
  19. Some bulbs may be the same length, and still be the same length, but the beam may still be crap, stick with the same wattage or change up to a bigger more powerful light..... like the lightforce stirker, or blitz with a battery pack
  20. yep deffo stoat or mink... Sardines work good in the traps
  21. Tar in the mountains in new zealand, As they are hard to stalk and like ballerinas on the mountainside, never putting a foot wrong as the run...
