  1. growing up where i did i had a lot of freedom, most of my childhood was spent, building shelters and camping out in them in the woods, learning to make trap, etc. fishing, and then putting a line of petrol across teh road during halloween, and once the cars where near lighting it, tying string to door knockers, and been far away pulling the fishing line, still cracks me up thinking on that one, would leave the house in the morning on school holidays and head to the hills, built a raft and fell asleep on it, friends thought it would be fun not to waken me, in the boiling sun....
  2. So much criteria to judging such a show, the little 2yo, got reserve, and was the youngest so goes to show you the fields always wide open. Snap.

  8. HI mate, Thats very sad to hear indeed, no age, life is precious as well as those who are closest to us, you and i know over this last year that life sometimes isn't fair, or work out the way we really want it too, We just have to let the wounds heal and try to move on, thoughts are with the family, and of course yourself, take care. Snap.
  9. Why the irish..........? Are there not enough good men in england or whats the story...?
  10. 32g v-max seen crows shot just over 500 yards with the 204, lucky shot admititly, but bunnies to over 400, and foxes slightly past 300, never saw a splash round ever with the 204. and i'm not disagreeing with you deker, just never seen it, most accurate the ruger m77 32g,
  11. parminda nagra........ hmmmmmmmmmmmm jordan, jodi marsh, any plastic woman tba..... doesn't do a thing for me, neither do stick insects....... give me a woman with curves... just not too many of them....

  19. just after listening to the radio on the way home from a meeting today, and i heard the dj's chatting about past childhood experiences, and what books they liked, so what book makes you think on your childhood, For me one was moonfleet, And the other believe it or not was the SAS survival handbook...lol loads of info... and some of the ladybird books while learning how to read.. puss in boots was one...lol ATB. Snap.
  20. ruger m77 204 is shit hot outta the box the most accurate gun i have seen so far in .204 calibre, the tikka T3 is an accurate gun also, but a choice of the two i would have the .204... Why... because there is no cost cutting measures with the ruger, whereas the tikka has one action to cover all bases, the stock is a far cry from the older 695, 595 models, i've never seen a .223 shoot anywhere near as accurate as a .204 with factory ammo, the 32g v-max is the fav for a factory twist outta the box. atb. Snap.
  21. You'll need quality NV, to get out to 250 to 300 yards in the rain, and it'll cost you mate, maybe the fox got wind of you without you knowing it. patience is a virtue, put in a stink pit and sit it out... ATB. Snap.
  22. you are right that the 87g v-max is a varmint round, And whoever shoots them will get away for so long even neck shooting but if anyone using them has any regard for the deer they hunt then they would change to a bullet suitable for deer, and NOT a varmint round. ATB. Snap.
