  1. Bird is the man to speak to. He seems very pleased with his. I have heard good things about this cross but never seen one in action.
  2. Mine then and now. My advise with this breed is keep calm and carry on. They take time. They will test you but come good eventually. .atb
  3. Like them 2. 5/8 grey 3/8 bull??
  4. Do you think they fell out of favour due to the introduction of the saluki and hybrids for the coursing scene alot better stamina and the bull hybrids for teeth. The deer grey imo is a jack of all trades master of non. Well maybe one.
  5. Forester for dogs all the way. Very rarely get any bother in it. Good on fuel aswell compared to others. Jeeps Cherokee and grand cherokee are good motors but thirsty and parts expensive Land cruisers are good but same again drink alot but go anywhere Any 4x4 out at night with dogs and lads in is goner get a pull.
  6. A dog of that mix is capable of any lurcher task, ferreting lamping etc
  7. They also need to realise that terriers and other small dogs arnt on the list aswell as they will gave ago at anything smaller than them
  8. Best fox dog I ever seen ex track bitch was abit wild at 1st but with some time and training she turned into a fox killing machine. Unfortunately she was stopen before a litter could be had
  9. RIP. Horrible to lose em. Looked a powerhouse of a dog
  10. Only takes the slightest thing for it to kick off especially if they both game types and if nobody is home and they try to kill each other. I wouldnt risk it
  11. Just like New Zealand beat you but we smashed them. Makes no difference now anyway
  12. Seen it before very good watch ?
  13. Fecking hell look at the paws on it like a grizzly bear
  14. Plenty of land in the south east, foxes are plenty full down that way
  15. The dog may bump into em but taking them is a different matter. I love the deerhound x's but for me the bull is much more advanced where teeth are. My deerhound takes em but she isn't a fox dog. She picks when she wants em If you want a pot filling dog then you wont go wrong a with deerhound greyhound.
  16. She did the lot by 18 months just not flying into em. Rabbits and big rabbits she was mopping up no problem.
  17. I didn't believe it until I got a deerhound f1. She is 30 months old now. She didn't really start flying into stuff until the start of this season. Last season she was playing with quarry taking too long to make a grab. She nearly went to a new home but then it just clicked for her. All the bulls I have seen are doing it by the end of there 1st season.
  18. Tbf I shouldn't really judge the line after only seeing one. Good and bad in all lines
  19. Wouldnt touch golly bred seen one a few years back, was good on edible but wouldnt touch anything that would show its pearly whites
