  1. I don't touch them either - seems to be more a " choice " these days than an unwritten rule though.
  2. I was a little apprehensive about reading the end of that - thinking about kid-pie .... but glad you had a good day
  3. Makes You Wonder . . I can't understand how these Scum think/tick , but there again Im not sure I'd want too ! Very true - how can you possibly get so mad that you break a babies ribs - and you know you must have done it - and then take things a step further. Beyond comprehension. And over football. madness. I hope he isn't right in the brain - because if he is - that is scary.
  4. I don't understand how he can have broken her ribs the week before - and he was still left in charge of her. I don't know the whole story, so I am trying not to judge - but she left him with the guy and had a bath - those ribs were broken - babies don't break ribs - why was the Mum not questioning things ?
  5. So she stands there and is making perfect sense, with a minor skin wound, and they demand an ambulance because she is " confused " and has been shot....
  6. i quite liked the original FFS............................so did i... same here... but its been stuck in my head since this morning when i first saw this thread and its starting to wear a little thin I was joking.................... uh huh You are still humming it now... Whistling it actually..... That makes it sooooo much better !
  7. Its different for women. I don't even want to know why you think that !

  9. I'd go for the spray - had 3 now - all with spray
  10. just put it in shutter mode and and increase the shutter to the fastest speed for focal length and light conditions You're in no position to give advice on pics........... I'm hoping that is aimed at fuzzy Paulus - but I know mine are shit - half don't even show the bloody dog ! Keep up Lara I would've quoted you if it was aimed at you. Hahaha ! I'm looking at your avi pic and having a laugh to myself right now. Blonde moments !
  11. I've had a few - local anaesthetic - nasty, but better to get on with stuff after. It's not as bad as you think it is going to be - think of something nice and grip tight to the rails of the trolley you are laying on. Good luck, hope it is all ok

  14. I found that most dry foods are " ok " depending on quality - but you need to spend the higher end of £35+ per 15kg bag for it. I now feed mine raw - not only do they look good, good coats, muscle and teeth - but the other end is manageable too. I have 5, so as you can imagine, I don't want to be clearing up tons of sloppy rubbish every day. On raw, they each go once daily average - which is nicely timed to happen on the lunchtime walk. Nice looking dogs, good coats, nice teeth, and minimal garden/road collection.
  15. Lovely dog, but ditto - they always look better moving. Use sport mode on the camera if you have it - if not, practice getting them running or jumping. I delete at least 5 for each one I keep - and of the ones I keep, only 1 or 2 are worth showing to anyone. Having said that, I just found out where the " sport action" mode is on my camera - watch out Fuji, you have some potential competition young man !
  16. Tons of them round here - leaping out onto the road in front of the truck, leaping out of the hedges when out with the horses, suddenly appearing in the fields early morning when out with the dogs - they are a real nuisance. Although I am not sure what is worse, hearing one scream or bark when I'm out late at mooching with the dogs, or hearing the sheep in the field next door coughing and sounding like a drunk tramp in the hedge.
  17. i quite liked the original each to their own !
  18. Very true. Funny how so many of them are already "sayings" and things/ideas/beliefs people used to live by, that seem to have been forgotten !
  19. It is mentioned on the BBC page - mastiff and staffy types I think they said ?
  20. Feed your dog, wait a few hours, then follow it around the garden with a torch
