  1. Most sensible thing I have heard for a long time. It's all well and good having the dog - being prepared to deal with what it may do is the important bit.
  2. What can I say - spotty ears does it for me !
  3. That Kerry Blue is racier than that GSD X Grey bitch Bunnys posted pics of last week... Yeah, well as soon as he has finished ordering his take out, he's out "smashing" stuff left right and centre Mansion Fish Bar is gonna get some strange orders tonight...dog has his eye on the free pizza deal... He always likes a free pizza !

  5. Aw J-Dog, you forgot to attach the sledge....
  6. Lovely pics - they both look fabulous, and enjoying a swim Now send the sun this way for goodness sake, you've been hogging it for 2 days.
  7. Going on Monday - it's been better in years gone by, but still a good show. I take my own food though, the entry price is bad enough, the food and drink on site is scary.
  8. I do the standard ones for sit, lay down, right and left. For recall, both arms out wide, and then I have added a few other ones that are useful to me - barking on command, jumping, finding something on the floor etc. As long as you use the same one for the same thing all the time, and make it nice and obvious for the dog ( you can refine them later ) then the dogs catch on quickly. I've had a couple of deaf dogs, so hand signals are really part of my standard training now.
  9. You couldnt stand livin wiht me then cause i can't help Cleaning to the point off Obsession . . Which at times pisses my Mrs Off And When He Is home my Son . . Though my Daughter has The Same Obsession lol Feel free to help - I just don't "expect" it ! ( I still won't be mowing the grass though ! )
  10. me neither I have to work hard with the crayon to do the "tash and stubble" though
  11. Personally, I have never, and would never, expect a bloke to do housework. I do the cleaning, washing and the cooking. In return, I don't open post, I don't put diesel in the truck, or wash it, or do the mowing. Unless I am single and have to lol ! and funnily enough - then the amount of housework I have to do, drops by %....
  12. Host them on a pic website like photobucket ( there are loads of others ) - then use the IMG code it generates, and copy/paste it onto your reply.
  13. Exactly. Madness. Apparently the police have " spoken" to the owners. Well that's ok then.
  14. That seems to be what the news is saying - although the owner seeing what happened and leaving the scene doesn't sound good - if that is what happened. Details seems so sketchy still. I trust my dogs - I would never say 100% because at the end of the day they are animals. I don't trust people 100% either - no one can know how they will react in a given situation. I would not - and have never - left my dogs with anyone else alone that wasn't part of the immediate family. I would never leave any of them alone with a child - family or not. At the end of the day, how could you live with y

  19. Beyond me that one Lara - you often find that though in these cases - women know what's what but don't do/say anything...really hard to read that story...pound to a penny he's punched f**k outa the baby's mother in the past too... True. If he was that violent to the baby, maybe he was violent to her. As I said, I don't know the story - but she must have known, and for whatever reason turned a blind eye. I'm not a Mum, but I can't imagine the "struggle" if that is the right word, that she must have gone through - torn between a child and her partner. Not saying it is right - it can't possibly
  20. I did wonder - sounds good though. Do you use the beef stock for venison regularly ? I would worry it would be too strong against a game flavour. I tend to use chicken stock but happy to try something new.
