If I was in the market for a new pair, i'd give the Irish Setter wellies a try, they look good. That said, i've just got a new pair of neoprene Hunter . My Mrs bought me them for my birthday, dropped enough hints that i needed a new pair and that I needed neoprene lined ones. Thought she'd have given me the cash or summat BUT she went out and bought THEM! My own fault. Nearly bought it yesterday myself Simo but 'restrained' myself, i wouldn't give that mag the credit of paying the price for it! Everything about it is lame, that ad is just one of many that discredit the working dog world. The worst 'pride denter',(fecking hurt too!), was getting leathered round the head (several times!), by a rabbit i'd handed 'back' to a keeper after getting caught age 14. The same 'helmet' of a keeper fired a 'warning' shot at me one night, some years later. My right shoulder got the message and never wanted to go back there again!!! (The rest of me did however, and revenge IS sweet !!!) '15th' generation.... Are you sure about that? As that seems an awful long way to be breeding just half crosses! At 8 months, she'll still have some growing to do and though she may seem a bit heavy now, she should really take shape over 12 months and onwards, especially when you start working her. You shouldn't expect too much right now, let the bitch develope, fully! You (or your bro) bought a half cross, I hope he wasn't originally lookin for a coursing dog! Dependent on what shes out of, many can be a bit 'square', that bitch on my avatar (pic on the left) was no different
