    It says what it is at the top of the pic. Thing is while most on here are quite impressed by this dogs look, at least 99% of it is in the type and angle of the photo! The dogs deffo had its face in the dirt and thats giving it a 'certain look' (especially the 'possibility' of a lost eye). I'd betcha stood quietly in it's kennel it'd look a whole different animal.

    Seen a couple of dogs off Mick Douglas back in the day, they were what I knew as Norfolk Lurchers, they could kill hares but the onslaught of the Saluki lurcher made 'em almost thing of the past. Think Stabba's hit the nail on the head with the type too. I'm sure there were strains of big rough coated dogs out of that area that lent themselves to the name but those lines are long diluted i'd bet and really, if they were that good they wouldn't have got knocked off their perch by the dogs from the East But for those that want to dream, they are out there somwhere... Awaiting a major comback,

    Same day as the EDRD show. still a good day out,all welcome, if ye can't be bothered going the edrd show like ss why not support the mwtlc and join us at peover hall,always a good atmosphere and some nice dogs and very interesting owners :laugh:as I say all welcome be nice to see some of your working dogs aswell atb at Yep, it's the same date as EDRD and a damn shame to clash but the fair has been held on this weekend for many years, I can remember going when I was about 16, i'm 44 now..! AT's dead right, it's always a bloody good day out. For those who make it... Enjoy!!

    Baldock, even if you get the device, the bottom line is, you were stopped by a copper being arsey, now no matter what you get to comply, if he pops up again all he'll see is you, the bike and the dog. Same situation and the bother of being stopped. If it was me, i'd simply look for a quieter road or lane for the month or two your gonna do it.

    Yep Moll, i'm with Andy, in that you have a fair point, but from your first paragraph.. It'd be a very dull world if we were all the same.. And your second.. I've judged two shows this year where this has happened and ain't it good to see.. No, Mogadon has never been abusive, but then he has worded to be contrversial and provoking and, when it's only letters and words on here it can and is read differently by each reader, by the very nature of his initial first post, it is a complaint, not just an obsevation and that is why we are so many posts down the line...
