    Done this thred a few weeks back Buster. After reading the posts I went an bought the Observers book on the subject for a fiver. In my opinion it's a fecking minefield mate, with just as many confusion species as edibles, that'll have you in hospital or worse...! So feck that, i'm picking feck all till i can get out with an expierienced forager, i'm too young an pretty to die over a poxy mushroom..!

    Ha, it had to be one or the other, i went for Barker as he bred a bit more than Wilkinson i've been told. In any case that dog has some history behind it and goes to prove that it wasn't just Gary that had throwbacks to the white dogs in the line. Fine stamp of terrier too, thanks for putting that up mate.

    I've pondered the same question HoS. Is there anyone out there that thinks 'to hell with smokers and their noise and fumes' and settles over a hole all quiet like, watching as the Jill's tail goes all bottle brush before she bravely squeezes into the dark. The hard bitten tyke, trembling with excitement for a sudden flash of rat? Fecking hell, i've just gone all DBP!

    The grass aint always greener. Some things sound better when folk crow about em. All most people need to do, be it terriers or lurchers, is just take the time to evaluate what you want your game to be and not just this season but say over the next ten.... Then when you've got a fair idea of that, find a type, line, strain that will do the job you want. Most importantly, when you've sorted both of the above out and this is the hard bit, think really hard about how to both preserve it and improve it. Simples!!!

    An here's me thinking i was giving advice about choosing a puppy, when the real agenda was about it's parents... So let me put my two penneth worth on that subject also... If either parent is shite then all your doing is spreading shite. Sure you can produce a worker from onions but what about the rest and where does that leave the state of the working terrier world? Real working terriers are precious things, so make damn sure you dont feck that up!!

    i agree with you it wasnt from your post mate to be fair i got pm silly remarks even on that other facebook page an the things thats on that page would end hunting 100% id look past it if i was putting bad blood pictures up but you no yourself what pictures they will use i keep them as plan an boring blood free as possible they wouldnt get the coverage that they would want for it but you have to admit this site would be s##t if no one posted a pictureYes it would, so keep posting pictures!! Make sure they are neither damaging nor incriminating and keep the film clips in your mind.

    Trunk, this all started with MY comment about your clip on Facebook, showing your dog killing a fox (dog did a decent job by the way) and all this is about that, nothing to do with your posts on this site!
