    good luck with it mate, four months and nearly 3 tonne is a piss take. If you speak to them again ask if you can get the adjustable power for the n1000 I never managed to get hold of clive or any response to my emails.

    A lad in our club got one that was under powered the other day, took it back and got a r10 and pocked the change. But in answer to your question 100 all day long.

    fsb is louder than silenced, fsb with silencer could possibly be very slightly but abit pointless on a carbine. If you had one you know you cant get much quieter anyway.

    Iv got to admit rats are my favourite quarry, its not the best perm some nights I only see one or two but I suppose that helps me stay sharp.

    There is one in inververness museum called felicity that was trapped live in the 80s, Whether there is anything out there breeding iv got my doubts but I reckon there is a few things kicking about that have either been released or escaped from private collections. I did hear rumours of a farmer shooting and burying one due to not wanting to risk publishing it but how much truth there was in it I don't know but I don't think id be shouting about it if I shot one either.

    Took the chance to get out last night as it will probably be my only chance for a few week. Instead of mooching between likely spots like I usually do I decided to stay put. Handily there was a shovel parked up from all the ground work that is going on up there. it also faced the fence line where most of the remaining holes are and give us a decent view about, so I perched up on the steps of the cab and sat for a few hours. Nailed these four between 17 and 38 yards with the jsb exacts living up to their name .

    what mag have you got? I know the ret is thicker on the 3x9 than the 4x12 as iv compared mine to a few of my mates.

    Agree with above, I love shooting rats but they aint healthy for you or dogs. If there's nowhere you can trap safely bait a box for abit and then put a traps in it and shoot them aswell.

    just incase anyone was interested or has the same issue, the answer to my question is yes, as long as there is no gap between the wall and the back of the cabinet ie remove skirting board and you have a solid floor.

    as above, if its the same at zero but flatter further out you either have a more efficient or lighter pellet or your powers gone up.

    one nearly ran into me abit back, dog pushed it from cover and it come flying down the path luckily it clocked me just in time it skidded and crashed through the fence right at the side of us.
