When land is nationalised people gain a sense of self worth, of dignity. They understand the land they walk on is partially theirs. They do not feel like serfs but equal human beings. The people who will manage the land would largely be the same people who do so at the moment. buyouts and funding would as is usual be financed by the government of the day. There's a hell of a lot more sheep and deer than mountain hares.The birds will pick up far more ticks from these sources than they will from hares. Is there any evidence that culling hares leads to lower numbers of ticks on grouse? Killing mountain hares affects the whole ecosystem and many other animals have their survival put at risk. Add Eastenders to that list mate. The JK show reminds me of a pub which used to invite handicapped people to sing on 'special' karaoke nights. The audience of so called normal people used to have a good night laughing at the 'turns'. I would prefer the company of the handicapped anyday.

Below the belt that ORT .......... I think the chap is making a fair point. It seems grossly ignorant to me to be told to 'f**k off' for questing a person's motivation in visiting sick children.
