The sad thing is these girls had nobody to protect or love them. Literally thousands of children with no effective protection. The Pakistani abusers are obviously most to blame, but some blame should be attached to the families of these girls who for whatever reason are mot protecting them. Where were the mam and dad the brothers? Just by way of example, my sister worked on a stall on Rochdale market in the sixties. No mate I did not send my kids to a faith school. I had the innocence beaten out of me in a Catholic school. We were told to hate the jews, hate the protestants and only we, the chosen few, would be going to heaven. I was determined my kids wouldn t have that bullshit inflicted on them. I was taught to be quiet and be obedient and be fearful of a mad god who who loved me but would fling me into hell fire and damnation if I disobeyed him. Historical accuracy Wilf. I googled "king Henry" and came a cross at least two who were gay. She is no doubt referring to them. Why hide the fact? If I were devising the curriculum I don't think gay relationships would be high on my priorities, but as long as my kids were happy and thriving it wouldn't bother me if they were doing writing projects like this. In any case, kids aren't stupid, the messages they get from home are much more important to them than the messages they get from school. They take it all with pinch of salt.

Sex education should be left to the church. They have a lot of experience in these matters.? The young teacher seems a lovely woman compared to the abusive, psychotic and habitually cruel nuns who taught me as a child. I quit with the help of Alan Carr's "How To Stop Smoking.". The sentence in his book which hit home for me was that people smoke because they think fags are a stress reliever but in fact they do the opposite... they cause stress because your whole life revolves around placating the nicotine god and finding time and opportunities to get a fix. Tell your ma to read it. It's never too late. They say there is nothing worse than a reformed smoker for pontificating. I am that man!

Just buried a good mate who died basically from smoking. He was about 7 stone and was kept alive on fluids and pain killers. Just do it mate.Throw the f***ing things away. My New Year resolution is to be more positive and stop coming on here so much.lol.

It's hard to be negative about them. Superb team. Whoever handles their transfers should be given a mega bonus, because they have bought superbly. Can they go unbeaten all season like " the invincibles"?. I hope they do. (As a Man U supporter, you have no idea how weird that statement makes me feel..) But they are so undeniably good they deserve what ever triphies are coming their way. The Premier league has raised the bar, first with Man U with Fergie, then with City and now even higher with Klopp,'s Liverpool..It's briiliant to watch.

I honestly don't know what the rules are now. One the one hand you don't get the assasins of old, ( Trevor Hurlock and co) but the new rules have almost stooped football being a contact sport. I think ex pros should be offered careers in refereeing. They know instinctively when a tackle is legitimate or filthy. Perhaps they should have a say in devising the rules and reviewing the rules too. At the moment the guys making the rules have little or no background in the game.
