I was surprised you dismissed the FBI's interest in him.     Dido I don't know what Corbyn and Abbot have said, I'm not a Labour Party member. However anybody legally living here, who has citizenship should surely be entitled to a vote. If by kids you mean sixteen year olds, then, again I would agree they should be given the vote. I don't see how Corbyn or Abbot could support free movement if and when brexit finally happens. That would be impossible. Does that qualify for the fifty quid?

    Agreed free movement will stay if there is a second referendum and remain wins, but that's always been part of the deal for remaining in the EU. IMO that's at the heart of the EU argument.

In any case the pressure group "labour for free movement" is only a fringe Labour party pressure group it does not write Labour Party policy.     Of course the NHS isn't free. I paid National Insurance contributions and tax for 47 years. We do need to have a national, adult conversation about the future of the NHS .But I do not trust the tories to chair that conversation. NP can you show me some reliable stats that demonstrate that the French pension is lower than the British? I receive circa 6 grand in state pension after a nearly half a century of work. Stats I have seen show the French pension to be twice that????. Not being arsy just curious.

    No, I have just checked the stats. It is a political decision by the tories to starve the NHS. They hate the institution: they think it smacks of sharing, cooperation and working class solidarity. Like council houses they want to sell , to them it represents a dangerous ideology.     When I read up on Libertarianism I found out that it was initially a leftie philosophy but it has now been adopted by the far right!
